My Dad showed me exactly where he kept his guns and ammunition since I was 4 or 5 years old. He made sure I knew not to touch any of it unless it was an absolute emergency. The only time I touched one of the guns without him around was when I accidentally brushed my hand against it while putting clothes away in his closet, and I didn't dare tell him about it, lol.

Do other countries promote and orchestrate broken families as much as we do? Or do drugs as much as we do? An overwhelming majority of the world's drug consumers are Americans.. There is also close proximity between rich and poor in this country, unlike in other countries where they are separated by villages, cities or even states/provinces. As for the second part this is true as well but my divestment from your stance on proximity is that the success shaming mentality that is taught to people in school from early on also plays a factor in this never ending state of tension. There are many places where the proximity is the same and people don’t want to kill those who have more than they. Roughly 40% of households have firearms. 50 years ago it was about the same. Lets ask ourselves what changed to make these types of shootings increase so much? I can think of multiple reasons ranging from pharmaceuticals to the lack of moral direction in society.

But how are you supposed to tell when you have a nut that's planning on shooting people? I think when you see someone with a gun, you should be able to call the police and report them, before something like this happens.
