Shooting .44 magnum Taurus Revolver (not a Judge)
Ғылым және технология
We took out a larger Taurus revolver (not a Judge) to the range to knock some of the dust off of it. We shot the .44 mag in both single action and double action
Shooting and re-loading the .44 magnum is fun, challenging, and creative. The .44 mag is good for hunting, target shooting and defense. A true all around gun / caliber
Big revolvers in .44 mag are heavy, but shoot well, this Taurus is no exception. This is not a Taurus Judge, so its more solid and heavier
One of our favorite calibers is the .44 mag big revolvers (and lever actions)

The level of absolute nastolgia i am experiencing is high i remember this video back when my family and I had to stay with my aunt and uncle. And I played alot of MW2 (Modern Warfare 2) and I used the 44. Magnum alot. I had an Itouch and remember looking 44. Magnum videos and this is the first one I seen. This video is the reason I wanted to get speed strips, I am so happy I found this!!!
this pistol is believe it or not....the most used guide gun ever.....and still is......44 is beasttttt
good video. besides looking like it was shot on a flip phone 😅
I like to use my .44 revolver as a back-up defense on hiking trails on my uncle's property. He owns 76 acres in central California in the mountains. Great defensive weapon against wild pigs, and mountain lions. Other than that, I use my .22 marlin model 795 autoloading rifle as a first line of defense. Good video, and good shooting by the way. Thumbs up from me.
Oh my god you are so good. I never had a change to reload real bullets from my pocket without a real reloader.
I shot a 44 Magnum yesterday for the first time, it was just plain AWESOME!
OK thanks, I won't take my.44 taurus into the 'combat zone' next time I plan to do so
i love 44s they r proly the coolest gun have ever shot
I was actually a little scared of handling a revolver before seeing this video, I definitly plan to try one out next time my dad takes me shooting. I plan to own my own firearm later on. I've already shot a 1911 and a .44 magnum bolt action rifle so far and enjoyed that a lot.
3rd favorite gun behind the m1 garand and the beautiful m16.
thanks
I wish we had the facilities to do some of that kind of testing.. the ranges don't like a lot of debris left behind after something like that though
I'm in love with revolvers and this is the video for me

Me too
love this video, the .44 magnum is my favorite kind revolver
That thing looks sick
I am Bruce Nolan, a sane human being---with a .44 magnum. The most powerful handgun in the wo---WHOAA!!
This gun is just.... EPICAL!
I own a Taurus just like this one. Its a fun gun to shoot but it shoots high. No matter how you adjust the rear sight or what rounds you use, it still shoots high. But overall, fun gun to shoot.
That sure is a nice shooting range.
i think its great for personal defence becuase it has the stopping power that is sometimes needed & the fear factor that can sometimes provent violence
@GunWebsites makes sense. thanks for the video
shooting a gun, like riding a bike. I like it.
Love the .44 Magnum. Looking for an excuse to get one. Nice video.
@manxdude1 This is a Double Action, so it can shoot both ways that you describe. It is typically more accurate to shoot with the hammer back, so thats what I do at the range In a hurry or whatever you could just pull the trigger and the cylinder would turn and the hammer would go back on it's own
That gun looks awesome :D
Good stuff!
Nice Gun Man :D
@metalfang5 big talk.. lets start a list of what guns we have each shot.. (not including video games)
It's an awesome gun. Great video.
My debate is mostly between S&W and Ruger also.. but .44 is plenty big for me
This is one gun that would not jam on ya when SHTF.. and reliable...
go arizona im going javelina hunting cant wait and soon i get to try out a 44 man its going to be epic!
Taurus actually makes some great products these days as far as revolvers go. I'm not too sure about their semi-autos though.
my dad got one and i can not wait to fier it
Nice speed loader :)
Nice gun!!!
@SuperGozzy We are all waiting with anticipation to see your vid showing this.
Arizona is a great state...
@TheSuperEricWarshot I agree and it looks like an insane gun.
I'd wish I had this puppy lol. I'd also wish you'd show everyone you shooting it oer something lol.
good video and good shooting as well.
i like the 357 686 too it kool
not much that can't be handled with the mighty .44 mag. Almost overkill on humans but perfect for deer, bear, and big cats. Shoot safe.
Speed reloaders FTW!
5 rounds countedw! Nice group!
Ahhh battlefield 3
i like this gun
@GunWebsites absouloutely. they amplify the sound so it sounds louder and has a sort of ring to it. Its just like in the movies when a gun has a slilenver it makes that little snap noise when in reality a supressor changes the sound similarly to if you were just lowering the volume on it.
I like shiny guns..Revolver's in my list.. Nice shootin'.
Rick carries a Colt Python
My Favorite Gun
I getting this same model for christmas , i already signed the papers and ordered the gun...can't wait to shoot it...almost went with a raging bull , but didnt like the double lock on the cylinder
ahhh kk tyvm!!
@GunWebsites He learned it all from video games
honestly, me too I'm looking for a new large revolver but I just can't make up my mind.. which do you like?
Just shot this gun yesterday. The kick is not bad but is different from a glock's because this gun's kick goes more straight back
thats what i call a weapon
lol i thought we were going to have a battle of games that have the 44.magnum :D
this is for all of you,i own a 44 dan wesson, only because i go to alaska often,if you want power and penetration,go with a model 19 smith 357, you are heeled,if you miss it's you, best six shooter i ever shot, goes where you point it,and you can pump up the loads real easy, will kill anything but grizzly
Nice with a Taurus
cool video
M9 pew pew pew .44 magnum BANG BANG BANG
@MrSherlockWatson nope, it is a double action (not semi-auto)
this gun is so sweet^^ love it in games to :)
@GunWebsites It depends on where you live. Some states require a license, others don't. They are usually easy to obtain as long as you have a clean record though.
@OsanBlackCat5RS yup, Davis Monthan AFB
With the 44mag I was able to hit a 8x8 steel square at 200 yards. On my first atempt I was able to hit 3/6. It was with a 6 inch barrel . that was the first time I had attempted it. The 44 it very optimal round for boar.
44 MAGNUM THE MOST POWERFULIST HANDGUN IN THE WORLD
@GunWebsites the reloading itself (at least with the loading "stripe") takes about as long as you reload manual but you can save time because you have all 6 bullets together and dont have to pull the ammo box out of your pocket or even grab out some single shots to reload your gun in a stressy situation. but id also prefer those "circle speed loaders" for myself. nice video.
hey can you get two of them, akimbo style like in modern warfare 2 ? lol awesome gun, love it
dam ur beast, i cant hit the target at 25 yrd, so much for recoil
just going by the camo on your shirt.
Real life!
Ohh sweet, Oh well, it's reallly a big difference between .44 and .50? Would like to see a review of a Desert Eagle .50 ^^ Thanks for your time bro, keep up the good work.
Dai.. la pistola di Little Boy! siii!
@mrcrazygunnut move to vermont, no permits. Some town require it, but as a state, no permits.
@GunWebsites full-auto revolver would be nice :P
@ljalaska on the first target! Nice gun and those quick strips are the shit!
@McMac916 wow, you have it all figured out.. what else would happen?
The most powerful handgun in the world....-Robaz
YEEEEEES
@fuscian It's just more accurate to pull the hammer first because you don't have to pull the trigger as much!
@McMac916 that's the thing, the idea of the 44 mag is you kill everyone in the room then reload
@Themaninthebar There is no 'class 3' permit
lol i shot one of these a couple of days ago and i was expecting some kick but its alot more than you expect
at 4:13 it sounds like the *PING* from an m1 garand that just fired it's last shot and expended it's clip.
quick reload! :D
cool
i like the 357
i like the 357
you are a very good shooter! great vid man. ps. how much was ur magnum?
i like the speed loaders but not the speed strips
if I'm not mistaken, the redhawk will handle a heavier load. Run some Buffalo Bore 340gr +P+ loads thru it, they are in the .454 ballistics area. I used to load some whopper loads, they would only fit the Redhawk cylinder, as the double cannelure Hornaday's would get seated out to the rear cannelure to allow more powder. Too long for the S&W.
lucky luke loves this gun
I hope I never eat at your restaurant
I'm pretty sure it's a double action. People usually use the single action for accuracy, the less you move your hand the more accurate you are.
@122boxer He was talking about a tripod on the camera.... and a pod isn't that bad on a revolver... unless you are in a non prone position
@fuscian it is heavy to pull the trigger without cocking back the hammer.so its less accurate then.
@TheElkCloner Also I like it how Hollywood movies is that they get shot like 30 times and never fall to the ground and they fire back. Also that there's no recoil and they can dodge the bullets and also that even though they are like 10 feet away they miss a lot!
Man that thing has a kick. When i shot it, the handle cut me hand
