To think that 73 years later Shooter Stevens' & Krusher Kratos' respective grandchildren would team up & win those very same tag team championships. Amazing!

TV during 1948 (Google is my friend): Roller Derby is on CBS, The creepy puppet show "Kukla, Fran and Ollie" airs on NBC, a young Ed Sullivan is the host of the brand new show "Toasts of the Town" on CBS, The brand new ABC network makes it's debut and they premiere a brand new hit show called "Candid Microphone" (later renamed Candid Camera), and on the Dumont network (which is currently no longer around) a brand new pro wrestling show called "Wrestling from Marigold" premieres on the Dumont network during 1948 (a wrestling show which would have a young rookie in his early 20's by the name of Verne Gagne a year later, who would become their biggest star during the 50's) and the "Wrestling from Marigold" show (sometimes referred to as "Wrestling from Chicago" by some modern fans) becomes a HUGE hit with it's 1948 debut... and.... and... apparently... (...AHEM...).... in the NWA during 1948, Shooter Stevens claims that ALL Americans will NEVER own TV sets (since mainly upper class families and rich people had them at the time during 1948 and almost no one else, with a FEW middle class families that found a TV set that "accidentally fell off a truck". LOL) and Shooter Stevens (who looks suspiciously familiar. LOL) says that an all women's wrestling pay per view will never happen.... AHEM.... and with that began the worst prediction in the history of television. LMAO.

As for the suffrage movement. I recently saw the young wrestler called Mae Young! Boy, as well as being a looker he was just as skilled as any man I've seen. Mark my words, she will be still doing this 50 years to come!
