Shooter On Campus: Know You Can Survive
Concordia University College of Alberta is among several Alberta post-secondary institutions participating in a program to educate staff and students on appropriate responses to 'active shooter' situations. The chance of an active shooter incident occurring is minimal; however, this video provides key information for students and staff on how to survive the unthinkable.

I don't know why I like watching this stuff but it's okay
my school is so stupid, we all are supposed to huddle inside a classroom in a corner... if the shooter enters they would have one easy target
I love how the likeliness has gone up dramatically in nine years
Some tips:
If I'm running from the shooter my school will be like no running in the halls
Am I the only one that's likes watching these types of videos? Yes?alright..
For the guy that slipped in
But the ad is promoting guns🤦🏻♀️
At our school the door opens outward which means we're screwed
If this happens, I hope it's during my English class. That's the only class where the windows aren't bolted shut. Lol

I understand why they make these videos to help prepare classmates, but a shooter can see this and know what they'll do.
At our school, we hide. If I hear shots down the hall, I open the window and run, not giving 2 cares about what my teacher says.
Good.
At my school we have active shooter drills or code reds where we hide in a corner with the lights off. I find this “strategy” to be useless because the shooter knows that the students hide in their classrooms and would most likely do anything to get in. Instead of hiding we should be escaping and have a planned escape route. Anyways the main problem is how the shooter easily got onto to school campus. We should be worried on how to prevent this from happening in the first place before we start doing all these drills. Like at my school they sometimes check if you have an ID around your neck and just let you go into the school. Most times the gate is left open while unattended all day and anybody could walk in. What I’m trying to say is prevent the problem first before trying to save yourself from it.
We had a real lockdown once and I had 5 fidget spinners sliver, light pink, green, chrome, and a red one I let some kids borrow then so they can calm down
Once we had a real lockdown and the entire time I played with a Rubik's cube

Shooter wouldn’t want to pick on where I am
One improvement is to remake the doors to single doors besides double. One compliment to this video is when the teacher drags the AR towards the camera, its a nice touch.
