I never liked North either, but I do understand where she’s coming from. She was basically a sex slave her whole life before coming to Jericho and I don’t blame her if she wants to spill blood. Though she will never agree with some of the choices Markus makes, she does stay by your side and help fight with you anyways.

Simon is possibly one of the best choice-matter characters in the game. Simon can do lots of shit to save Markus at the expense of his own life, as well as sacrifice himself to save Jericho. The downside is that the player, from my memory, doesn't get to learn about Simon before he ends up joining Jericho. Nevertheless, Simon is a grand example of a character who can do multiple actions, depending on what choices the player makes.

It's sad either way you slice it someone has to die I suppose it shows that in revolution there's always loss. You can't prevent someone from dying but you can minimize your losses I suppose.

Same here, I left Simon on the roof and didn't go up there when I was playing Connor, which means no one found Simon. He later returned to Jericho and I got a scene where Simon and Markus hugged. It was so sweet.

There was a reason to shoot Simon. I almost shot Simon myself until he was like "Yo, don't shoot me." I think he understands that, which is why he's less angry than he would be if Markus just spontaneously turned around and shot him. Emotion clouds judgement and, in his time, he's just been shot. Maybe he thought that Markus never planned to let him die. Maybe he's just happy that he's not dead. Or maybe I'm just grasping at straws.

Because it was understandable. A dead Simon can't (they think) be interrogated. They don't know about Connor's little necromancy trick but even if they did, killing the straggler would still make them safer.

I find it funny how a 10 second scene without words between Markus and Simon made me feel more than a whole conversation between Markus and North talking about their past. It just shows how the relationship between Markus and Simon manages to be more well written than the one between Markus and North, even though they're supposed to be a couple. I guess this is the reason it's bad, after all.

Wow I didn't even know Simon would literally give his life to save yours during the Revolution. That's probably one of the most powerful scenes for Markus besides the scenes with Carl.

If you decide not to go to the roof and go straight to interrogating the androids instead as Connor after having Markus leave Simon, then Simon won’t be found and he’ll meet up with Jericho later and him and Markus will hug. And then if you do everything right as Markus, then no one has to sacrifice for him and everyone lives. Also you have to be on a pacifist run.

The fact that Connor is conflicted by his possible deviancy is what's most fascinating about him. He doesn't want to be a deviant, he wants to obey as he should and just do as he's programmed. There are so many instances where he seems to feel emotions but then tries to explain them away like they didn't happen or don't matter. He doesn't want to be corrupted in that sense. It's fascinating.

You get a brief glimpse of Cole's face in one scene and Connor basically looks like what Cole might have grown up to be.

The way Simon looks at Markus is pretty much exactly like John when you take him and do sacrifice

At the end of the first sacrifice that guy was the only human left so why didn’t they beat the shit out of him and save Simon. Edit: yes I know after checking that there were more out of frame.

LOOK AT THE WAY SIMON LOOKS AT MARKUS WHEN HE SACRIFICES HIMSELF DURING THE FREEDOM MARCH. THAT LOOK IN HIS EYES IS JUST SO. RELIEVED. AND SO SAD. AND IN PAIN. BUT HE'S HAPPY. Simon and Markus being together are much more compatible, whilst for North and Markus it felt forced and after the game would probably be some smooth sailing until a break up happens.

Simon is my favourite character in Markus' storyline.

Conner: *dies* Hank: again! That’s the third time this week.

The trauma in Connor’s voice at 4:13 really hit hard because he was trying to remain a machine to complete his mission but when he was traumatized and felt the “void of death” he became more human in a way. It just hit hard because of that moment.

When Connor reactivates Simon and he says “Don’t leave me again Marcus” that hits hard

Well, I think the game used the same outcome scene for both when Simon shot himself in the head, when the police shot him, and when Markus shot him.

I love how in a game of choices, Simon has the option of whether or not to support you, and he always *chooses* to put you first.

So Simon fights 3 humans to save Markus And also LITERALLY GIVES HIM HIS HEART.

I feel bad for Deviants cause they just wanna be free

Cause kamski wouldn't just make every android different, you see 2 josh models in the game, without counting josh, 4 north models on the eden club and daniel, which is the same model as simon, something funny is that the only characters you don't see more models of are markus, kara and connor, i think cuantic dream wanted us to think of them more as people than androids, and here is your answer, hope i helped

You actually do see other Kara models around the city and at Jericho. You also see another Connor model when you're trying to convert the androids at the CyberLife tower. I think the only one we don't see is Markus.

So many possibilities. That last scene giving Markus his battery, and the Connor rooftop scenes were great. Masterpiece of a game! When I didn't help Simon at the tower, since I didn't know him much and was trying to save my own skin of course, I didn't know he could have become such an important character. RIP Simon.

I feel like North was actually a pretty good love interest but i would also like to see the Simon love path. A lot of factors would’ve played into developing it though, and there’s probably a lot of things that blocked it from happening. Oh well, I still like North despite what a lot of people say. She’s not bad tbh.
