Dear everybody! For once an all! Light is what makes an image not the camera.

Artificial light is expensive
Great job! Having fun shooting with the Google Pixel. Straight out of camera, it gives a color boosted contrasty delicious shot. :)
loved the tutorial. I've been using lightroom mobile for 2 years now and i never even tried the camera in the app. Thanks for sharing, this will step up the photo game for lots of us
This is fantastic. I’ve been interested in food photography for years and have been saving for a DSLR and lenses, but am using my iPhone right now to practice learning the basics on lighting and composition. I think it’s so helpful that the light room app has all of these features and your demonstration was helpful in tying the pieces together. I never noticed this function was available!

cheers, I'm glad it helped
Thank you for a great video..!! 👍 The best thing I have ever taken with my iPhone 4, like 6 years ago, was my food.
Wow! This is a very useful video - not only for using the iPhone to do product photography but also for putting Lr for mobile to use. I have been using Lr mobile for quite some time and didn't know it had all these manual controls! Thank you!
Fist video I’ve watched of yours learned something new was entertained and about to be an owner of a product I didn’t even know existed needless to say I subbed!!! Cheers!!!
I needed this information, it's super helpful. Thank you so much!
As always you blow my mind! 👏🏼

How was your journey???
Thank you for this video!!!
Thank you, I didn’t even realize there was a camera in Lightroom mobile! This might be a game changer, not only for food photos, but also for everything. I’m a Fuji shooter, some are moving to the other photo editing programs for better compatibility but this is why I can’t switch, integration makes me stay.

same here. i didnt know you can take photos using lightroom. i usually just use the basic editing in lightroom. now i can fully utilize it
Thank you so much for the video! You are the best!
nice one, it makes me want to experiment with my phone now 😂 4:04 i find that the better way to avoid that is to zoom 2X when shooting food with a smartphone, when a client asks me a way to take better shots of food with his phone i give him 2 advices, use natural light, try using a curtain as a diffuser if lighting is harsh and zoom 2X to avoid wide angle perspective. Sure you loose some quality but to me 50mm and above is the focal length for food, and you dont need a vertical tripod. (I prefer 70 and above to be honest)
Great tutorial! Do you have your phone's camera zoomed in? Default focal length on a phone is wide angle and if I zoom in, doesn't it reduce its quality?
You are great man, thank you for this valuable help. Greetings to you from Morocco
Excellent! Thanks! You make food photography look so easy - and delicious!
That was awesome! Thank you so much for the tips 🤩🤩🤩

That’s very very useful app n the information. Some times the best I phone makes terrible pics particularly the background showing grains if the lighting is a little poor. With this video we can improve on the images
This was super helpful, thank you so much.

well there was the daylight portion..haha.. but I feel you, the real point I was trying to make with that is, if money is tight and all you have is a phone you can make good pictures with minimal gear. And a $100 constant light + phone is cheaper than a new camera and lenses.

you can use a home lamp with a white bulb in it. I did that for jewelry pics a while ago. Or you can use day light. Which I prefer it over studio light. Than is personal taste more than anything 😊☺️

In any case, gear or no gear, I learned a lot from this video. The technique plus the LR presets are pretty killer, even without a studio light.
Excellent. Thanks so much for this. My high school students are grateful.
I would stick to ISO 25 when using an iPhone and a tripod, as long as the camera app can manage long enough shutter speeds (another limitation to worry about). Noise gets heavy very fast with these tiny little sensors, so using the lowest ISO possible helps a lot. Should have worked with your natural light shot, but might not have worked with your studio shot (there I would've set the slowest shutter speed and set the exposure by increasing the ISO). After using a smartphone for "serious" shooting you start to appreciate a "real" camera even more … ;-)

Amazing..
Nice tutorial. I will apply this on my youtube channel
greate app!
What was the model of the tripod you use?
Hi there, I dont know if you check your comments months later. But could you recommend any LUTS for Food in FCPX. ? Thanks
Hi!! I just found your channel, and so far is very informative, thank you. Where can I get the trípode in this video? I agree with you Light in a picture can make it or break it. A good light will make the best picture. The camera will not make a picture with bad lighting good. Boy!!! I know that LOL!! Thank you. 😊
Hi what is the app you’re using for manual exposure?
Hi! Which iphone is that? From which version would you recommend it?
hello good eve 🥰..were can i find that apps for camera ,?im lit bit confious,,hehe tnx
Does anyone know what instrumentals he plays in the video? Its amazing
Does that “center column” extension come with the the tripod or is it a separate piece that I have to purchase? I clicked the link in the description but can not tell by the pictures (or item description).
Wow amazing
Great video... Lighting is important
