I have the rf1400 and the visor has the vortex generators too. I also have an Arai quantum x and it too comes with the silicone oil.

@@diploida I don’t use the rf-1400 anymore because it cause cauliflower ear. Used it for only 1 month. I used the quantum x as my primary until I got the x15. Quantum is very comfortable but loud. X15 is very comfortable as well and a lot quieter than the quantum. I switch in between them
Hi, I’ve read in some reviews that the X14 is a noisy helmet, would you consider it noisy compared to the rf1400? Thanks

Noise level can be very subjective. We recommend a snug fit with the chin curtain installed.
is it comfy enough for long ride? like more than 2 hours?

Absolutely. We have plenty of riders in the X-14 who do some serious sport touring models. These riders are typically in hotter climates and choose the X series over the RF series Shoei due to the superior ventilation. The liner and cheek pads are highly customizable for different riding potions and killer fit.
