Matt, Road Runner Sports featured this video a couple of weeks earlier on their channel. I was wondering why it was missing here. Meanwhile, I did run in demo Neo Vistas. It was a few miles of Easy to Tempo run. I was surprised how soft the shoe felt. Loved the upper and the looks!

Yeah, I saw that! I sent it to them and planned to post it earlier, but then it got pushed back here for more time-sensitive releases! The Neo Vista really looks good! Did you notice the shoe firming up as you ran faster? I think one of the best things about the NV is that it's soft at slow paces and feels firmer as I run faster.

@@its_Matt_B_ Yes I think it does firm up a bit but I didn't push very much because it was the day after my long run. I think the foam is not expanding as quickly so at fast paces it is still a bit in compressed state and gives a bit more firm feel. The geometry (deep mid-sole void) and fiber-glass plate is doing the heavy lifting on fast paces.

I have the Neo Vista and absolutely love it! The cost of the Skyward X is a bit prohibitive. And now that I have the NV, the SX would probably be a bit superfluous. Another show that caught my eye was the On Cloudmonster Hyper, but again the cost is 💵 💵 💵!

I don't run in heavy shoes... It kills my LT band.. I do find the Hoka color beautiful the Neo Vista looks kind of.. boring.. All in all to save my Achilles and calfs I will definitely get the Neo Vista. Did manage to get the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro V2 finally on big sale today.. Last month got an extra Mizuno wave Rebellion Pro V1 at 50% discount..

Matt, I have the Skyward X already and really enjoy it…in terms of a shoe that’s “fun” for the daily miles and possibly even using for 10k races, which would you go with between the Neo Vista and the Valkyre Speedworks? I’m a bigger runner at 6’6”, 240 lbs if that factors in between either…never really have had stability problems so neutral shoes work just peachy

This is a great question, and not as easy to answer as I first thought it was. The Neo Vista is quite squishy at slow speeds but, amazingly, seems to get a little firmer and responsive when you run faster. The Speedworks has a more traditional feel, which still feels nice and quick. I guess to answer your question, I would go with the Speedworks. I like the feel of the ride, especially if I was going to use it for races, and because I live in a warm climate, I like the light breathable upper. The Neo Vista has a knit upper, which is fine and feels good but is warmer than the Speedworks.

I'm going to go ahead and leave a comment before I even watch the video...as I've owned both shoes. The Mizuno Neo Vista is a far superior shoe. It's more comfortable and just feels lighter. I actually sold my Hoka's, as the hot spots in my bilateral mid lateral forefeet were truly miserable. No improvement even after an ample break in period.

I got the neo vista and I love running in them. They are very fun. I have already 36km with them ( 3 runs, approx 12km per run) but each time I use them I am getting blisters on my feet. Anyone else with this problem? It kills me because I like them alot but I don't think I will keep them. I got these to replace my triumph 20 (never got blisters with the triumph).

Any recommendation is appreciated :) I got the mizuno because I wanted something with a bit more cushion and responsiveness, but I might go back to the triumph (20 or 21 if i can find them) It seems a safe bet for me.

@@techthux3758 It’s a bit tricky to answer because there are many reasons you may experience knee pain. It sounds as if you may have experience with stability shoes, and if that’s the case (and you’ve had success), I’d say stick with the Glycerine 21 GTS. It is ideal for walking and easy jogging. ✌🏽
