Proficiency in scripting is very useful.

I do not have a background in cybersecurity. What skills do I need to acquire in order to be able to study a master's degree in cybersecurity?

If you have computer science or IT background in general you should be good. You definitely need proficiency in Linux, Scripting, and Networking among others.
