You decided what you thought Dr. Evan's meant in his statement. However, it appears he told them he was stepping down due to sin. Nothing more. He did not say he told the board and the family all the details. Additionally, you wrongly assume the family is falling apart because of this. Yeah, its big and yeah, its shocking and hurtful, but we don't know this family inside and out. If and when he is ready to share, he will. He can withhold information if he wants. It is his call. We don't have to support his behavior, but we can still pray for the man. God will take care of whatever needs to be done. Not us.

I totally agree. It’s not our business. That’s where gossip and tearing down ppl’s reputation plays. This KZread channel needs to be censored or taken down because it’s not helping but hurting. People like to tell untruths and speculation. Dr. TONY Evans will be blessed and will be more victorious. May God bless him and family.

When church, when will we turn to God and His word and stop allowing ourselves to be tricked and duped by the enemy through social media?. When we as the body of kingdom citizens, believers do 2 Chronicles 7:14, then and only them can we expect our God to heal the land. We fall, how we get up will make the difference. This video talks a lot, but doesn't say ANYTHING! Dr. Evans has the right to His privacy. The man doesn't owe me any money, so it's really none of my business.

Tony is not ready to come completely clean at present, I pray he has time to think and does the right thing, the members of his church will respect that more than obfuscation.

The sermon preached by his son (J.Evans) on Father’s Day was in no way disrespectful, nor was he calling out his father about lies! The whole video has been taken completely out of context! Those who are doing the most talking, are the very people who know nothing or very little about the family and these set of circumstances surrounding the pastor stepping away. It’s all about likes, subscribers, recognition and revenue. It just shows that you aren’t doing your due diligence to respectfully report on the truth or anything factual!

We are all sinners saved by Grace! What is this video? How does this glorify God! Y’ll need to be careful how you are playing with God and his people. He has mercy and forgiveness and you are doing this? Repent and pray for saints!

What do you know about his first wife - cleaning up his image (all these time)? Do you know her well to comment what she had or had not been doing? Where is your evidence of this assumption? Please give details that you have come up with his former wife's actions?

We don’t know exactly what Jonathan meant. He did say that three days later, his dad called them (him and his siblings) and told them the same thing he told the congregation he (Jonathan) was speaking to on that day (Father’s Day). That does sound strange since one or some of the children would, seemingly, have been in attendance on the previous Sunday to hear what their father was sharing with the congregation. I did find it strange however that, after stepping down, Tony retained the authority to appoint who would preach on that day (Father’s Day) after saying in his address to the church that, “Pastor Gibson and our leadership will keep you informed on how things will continue moving forward with the ministry.” So, unless Jonathan is a member of the leadership, I don’t understand how Tony could tell him he, “needed [him] to preach on Father’s Day.”

It’s because Dr. Tony still has limited authority over the church since he is one of the co-founders.

Every one of these serposingly Tony Evans updates,has one common theme, some crazy gossiping woman,committing one of the worst sins in the bible,while adding and updating nothing,period. Maybe just shut up and pray for the church. 🙏

Tony Evens does not have to share his sins with us. You dont have to follow him, but he own you/ us no explanation. If he has given it to God is good. Im sure when you sin you dont expose it to the world so why does he need too?

I really think, he shouldn't have disclosed it because according to him, it was not criminal. Being the pastor of the congregation, he has to say a reason for stepping down - and that was his revelation. Who are we to ask for more details? All details will be between him and our God. We pray for his restoration.

You are misleading about what you are saying about his son. Do you think God is pleased with your misleading statements or gaslighting.

Biblically he doesn’t get to be restored to the pulpit. Biblical discipline needs to be applied. Forgiveness yes but he can NOT return as a pastor /elder position. He no longer meets biblical qualifications . That’s the consequences. He doesn’t get a free pass. Follow the biblical process!
