Shocking School Photo Stories
These were shocking school photo stories. In 2021, Florida students were upset after their high school yearbook pics were photoshopped to make them look more modest. Also, in 2021, a junior high cheerleading squad was criticized after the team manager, who has Down syndrome, was omitted from the yearbook photo. 2016, a high school senior faced several counts of indecent exposure after he showed his genitals in his football team photo. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

First off, it would be funny if they did edit her out. Funny but mean. But she wasn’t edited out. They actually took 2 separate photos. One with her and one without her. The first picture was without her, but when the girls realize she was standing on the side, they told her to come in and join. Hence the 2 different pictures. And I guess when they print out that photo, maybe the person used the first copy since he/she thought the 2nd photo was the same. Or maybe it was an assistant who was choosing which picture to use and same thing, he or she did not know there was another girl. But ehhh. It’s still funny

I was one of the yearbook editors at my highschool. All the graduating class got school photos taken at the beginning of the year for their school ids but not everyone got a “cap and gown” photo taken. When it came to putting pictures in the yearbook, we included the school id photos for the students who didn’t get cap and gown photos. We were asked by multiple teachers to take the id photos out (even though they were high res pics) and to only include those students who got cap and gown photos. At least where I lived, the cap and gown photos were expensive and a lot of students’ parents paid for them, thus to not include the students who didn’t have them in the year book felt like discrimination based on wealth/privilege etc. We refused to make the yearbook unless everyone had their picture included. We just flatly said we would stop working on it and those teachers who were upset could make it themselves. In the end, everyone’s photo was included.

I respect religious groups, but you don’t have to force everybody to be like you. Nobody should feel that they have to dress or bees modest as a person next to them. First story: school being unfair to girls Second story: “MiStAkEnLy” edit out a girl with Down syndrome Third story: boy dared to do something bad and was heavily punished for it. Horrible.
