But do tell me in what areas I have mentioned should Europe be ashamed of and tell me which cultures you feel are better because I would love to hear it. The way things are explained here is just wrong. Lately, we saw the rise of France's extreme right, which basically says that making ships sink in the Mediterranean Sea would help French people. In response to that, we first had an alliance between all the lefts (which includes some far left) and to which Emmanuel Macron does not belong at all. And then there was this "second round." Usually, this second round opposes the two political parties that arrived in front, but sometimes a third one can be represented too. (Also, elections happen per region, each different region will elect someone different to be represented in the government). In the case of 3 parties, the party of Emmanuel Macron and the new left party asked their representatives in every region (if they are the third one and the far right arrives with more votes) to withdraw their application in order to disallow the far extreme to get more power. (This works because if people can vote far extreme right or something else, there is still more than 50% that do not vote far extreme. If the "something else" is divided in 2, each one gets half of the votes of those who do not vote far extreme right and it may get the lead). The thing about the alliance between Macron and the left is only said by Marine Le Pen. Macron and the left actually disagree on a lot of things

In other words, for all those French people living abroad who may have wished to support the Right, they were not GIVEN the CHOICE!This is how the French State cheated the French so they could remain in power! I am absolutely furious and disgusted!! By the way, the RN is not ‘FAR’ Right as many news agencies keep calling them. European countries are being ravaged and stripped of their values, way of life and sovereignty thanks to the European Union, starting with Merkel who opened the floodgates to millions of undocumented migrants and so called ‘asylum seekers’ including many other damaging policies. Thank you for your important information! *IMO this is scandalous election rigging from the very top* , but seemingly is concordant with the laws for the political system in F (not that it will not be used as a model for future elections globally). IMO what F has now is a *CARTEL!* The unlikely associates used a loophole which would have been long erased if it concerned a large firm or such - why is this still possible? How much worse has it to get until it starts to get better again, if ever? I fear for my home country Germany, very much so. You are entirely correct about Chancellor Merkel's mistake (or was it one? IMO it was planned, cf. "Now they are here", "Jetzt sind sie nun mal da", a blatant ignoring of the Schengen treaties, among others - without any repercussions! Hony soit qui mal y pense...). Like so many of my fellow citizens, I did not condone or have the power to influence this breach of international laws, but I hang my German born head in shame for what followed it. Regarding the societal upheavals in France and Belgium (!) at around the same time, this in retrospect for me even clearer looks like a coordinated pincer attack from the East and the West, but I can not identify the source of it. Since 2015 I need so much aluminium foil, it is devastating. All my opinion, for what it is worth, and edit for typos.
