I love how Garrett's intuition was so spot on. He didn't even relax, he knew right away that something was terribly wrong, he kept asking questions to get as much information out as he could, and the only reason Robbi would give the money back is to get someone to stop making an issue.

I think everyone, that actually has a decent grasp of poker, had that reaction to the hand. The. Only people saying that she definitely didn’t cheat are people with a childlike understanding of poker. There are even comments on this video saying that “Robbi was the only person with enough balls to call Garrett’s bluff.” 😂 Even if she didn’t cheat, it would be more along the lines of she is the only person Garrett has ever played against who is stupid enough to make that call. If by some miracle she didn’t cheat, it goes down as the worst high stakes poker play of all time and one of the worst at any level.

Brian 100% took his money that he was owed off that hand no doubt about it. Then to send some bs message and then say “I didn’t know it was yours” ? Lol are you that gullible ? It’s no coincidence this happened in the same night after the play. He was scared she wouldn’t pay him and he was desperate. 100%

Having said all that she played so bad and won, it can't look like anything other than cheating by people who believe "equity" is in the "kind of hand" you hold instead of the situation as a whole...it sure looks like cheating but money could be meaningless to some and she just went with her read.

I think you're doing a great job of covering this. I just showed the hand to two friends of mine who are in law enforcement; they both felt the play looked highly suspicious. Not that they mattered, but they were shocked at how she acted.

You’ve done well covering this story. And I find your coverage especially pertinent since you’ve been cheated in high-stakes games. She’s innocent until proved guilty in the courts, but the opinion of people who have been scammed before in a similar situation is important to hear. Intuition isn’t truth, but it often leaves a breadcrumb trail. Been fun to watch you follow the trail.

There are a lot of ppl who are “voices of reason”. The issue is that as a society we have devolved with social media to pick a side and just go to war. 95% of the Twitter replies are just that. They don’t give af what evidence comes out. They just want to pick a side and act like aholes

Just want to add: I agree generally with that statement but with the caveat that you should stay true to the truth more than stay true to yourself. Many people do not seek the truth and in doing so, their minds are .... deformed. They should not seek to stay true to themselves .... seek the truth always.

It's interesting how many new KZread vloggers have popped up in the last couple weeks to comment on this topic. I appreciate that you came out immediately with your take on this. These new folks with their 10's of subscribes don't seem to grasp the absurdity of the call and the enormous amount of inconsistencies and irregularities that occured. Keep up the great analysis and thanks for not soft peddling it like JI.

Well, this changes everything. Thanks for the update and going through all that effort to get to the bottom of this. As for the haters, great advice and couldn't agree more. No matter the number of masses of people out there who might hate you for something that's not true or that's idiotically assumed, as long as you stay true to yourself, it's the only person you actually have to live with your entire life and life is better spent with someone you trust. Ironically, I finished the trust part as you joked about the direct access to the production team... /sigh well, I was excited to maybe try and enter but now that I know meeting the production team was a joke.... *kicks small pebble on the ground*
