You've never messed up. There is no Right or Wrong way to do this. When I discovered them, I knew nothing. I watched everything at random, then finally figured it out. But I wasn't a reactor either. I didn't have a highly opinionated Army sending me messages. It's ok to learn as you go. And yes, we will watch everything with you. Just ask us any questions. Also, just so you know...there are explanation videos for most of their MV's. "DNA" is full of cultural references. You can choose to go watch it. Or just enjoy it as a song. But a lot of their songs have deep meanings. These guys aren't plain KPop. They are musicians and composers and lyricists and philosophers and very talented creators. To get to know them better and learn their names...watch their documentary "A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7". It's long, but well worth it. And again, we will watch it with you. There are new people added every day who have never seen it. Enjoy. It's ok to learn from doing. Don't be hard on yourself. And don't take the comments personally. You're fine. You're more than fine. Passionate people can get carried away. Take your time. Do what is comfortable to you. The only thing that is if you are going to say anything longer than a couple of words please keep pausing. That's good, the amount of reactors that talk over. So thank you for that. ARMY will support a genuine music lover. We need to find a way to point you to the music you will enjoy most because all 7 BTS members all have very different tastes that they have been encouraged to develope and as they all contribute to writing and producing there is something for everyone. Even if you were tone deaf there is their huge amount of hilarious reality content. Yes. Of course, tap into their solo work. They are so good! They never ever need to get back together because they each could just rely on solo careers. Jaw-dropping. Mind-boggling. Out of this world. Stunningly Exquisite. Magnificent Masterpieces. Just a few words to describe their solo work. You can go in order or go random. JHope dropped his solo album, "Jack in the Box." Watch his MV "More" then "Arson". You will be surprised to see a new JHope. He wrote these songs during the pandemic. Plus, when they took a break and all went solo, they were burned out. So, just so you know. A new JHope emerged. So. Watch them all in order. Or random. It all works. But don't miss out on their solo work. Plus, JHope did a smashing headliner concert in Chicago, "Lollapalooza." And Suga as Agust D toured and did his D-Day concert from his album "D-Day. If you register your channel as a business then you can "write off" expenses like a No Commercials KZread. You can write off lots of stuff. Your bedroom as your office. Sure! “Come Back To Me” is his prerelease track. The rest of the album (Right Place, Wrong Person) drops on the 24th at 12am EST along with the title track MV. Two more MVs will drop on the 28th, 31st, and the last on June 10th. Idk if others have explained to you yet that the boys are serving in the military right now, but most of guys filmed and recorded these recent releases before enlisting so that us ARMY could have new content in their absence! Very sweet of them.

There first US performance was at American music awards in 2017 they performed DNA.

Watching their videos, I always had to just watch the dancing & listen to the music first. Then watch again to check the lyrics on the second or even third watch. I think part of their accidental allure is for those of us who don’t speak Korean, there’s no such thing as a cursory viewing. There’s too much to see. It takes time, repetition and savoring. We’re so used to being force fed instant gratification bits, BTS reminded us to take time to fully appreciate all they offer. And Army isn’t afraid to mention what you might miss something merely tasting them or gobbling them whole without tasting them at all.

I think you would LOVE watching their choreo vids. For pretty much all of their MVs (including this one), they have choreo vids that you can watch as well/ separately. As for RM's latest song.... It would be a crash course into who RM is, which is to say he's an artist. It's a mellow song with a plot/ story that may (will) have you scratching your head. Completely different vibe from his presence in BTS, so curiosity alone might have you wanting to check it out.

It's okay Curtis as a new army you definitely will learn who is who and you will also recognize them by their vocals but yes you do need to check out their single songs and it gives you a taste of the flavor that they add to being BTS cuz they're all very different and unique and we couldn't do it without them so you must listen to each individual songs and you'll see who they are with their songs thank you.

If you decide to watch it, ARMY will like it if you pause to read the narrative subtitles. This way you won't miss the visuals while trying to quickly read the subtitles.
