I'm a Luo and I agree with him. He is speaking the truth. For Raila being the president of Kenya? That would never happen. He had the best chance and he lost it several times before. Ruto knew whoever will race against Raila for president will always win. He even said it himself way before campaigns started while he was the DP for Uhuru. And it happened. Luo's need to accept as long as it is Raila heading them they are going nowhere. I'm a luo and I accepted it. So should they. And I will also like to say Raila is one of the most selfish and self-centred leader we have ever had in this country. Look at the people who have ever taken a bullet for him where they ended up and you'll start to understand what I mean. For instance Miguna Miguna, he risked his life for him being the one to swear him to power as the "people's president", against the government's warning. What happened to Miguna shortly later? Did Raila stand for him? Look at Ruto when he supported Raila for president back in 2007, what happened to him later after literally fighting the kikuyu's in rift valley for Raila? And many more like Ababu Namwamba, Boni Kwalale, Moses Wetangula, they all fought for Raila and immediately he got what he wanted he completely forgot about them and the sacrifices they made for him. That's why now they are on the opposite side. Look at Kibera, he was the MP for three decades. What did he do to make the place better? As long as it's Raila, luos are doomed!
