💯 Same exact sentiment that immediately came to mind. Someone like this isn’t concerned how they hurt anyone else, they are concerned about themselves now being hurt. They aren’t wishing they had done the right things, they are replaying their actions and regretting not having told a better lie, been less sloppy, scapegoated the blame on you more seamlessly. They fear having to be culpable what they did to you, they may even regret what they did to you because now they fear facing the consequences, what they don’t regret is how what they did affected YOU. 💯🖤✌️ *I’m sorry for what you were put through btw. But you have an extremely positive head space about it, and tbh, when they say the best revenge is to use what you were put through to make yourself better, they are right. Giving someone the satisfaction of seeing what they did break you helps no one but 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢.
