I hear you, as a Villa fan I’d take him back tomorrow, Pep didn’t need to utilise as we did, his fame arose from the role we gave him and his subsequent flare, my concern is the funds not being there given the other positions that need filling and FFP constraints, and I don’t think there’s a fan out there who excepts losing Dougie in a swap deal, (which would be the only viable way of us obtaining him). That’s a good point, I always find the FFP rules weird. If a club has the money they should be able to spend how they want but I understand the finances would make this deal hard. Villa do need to strengthen though with them having Champions League Next season

@@FootballCarnage we will but will be shopping in the thrift shop looking for some bargains (already linked to Barkley) and a very good Barcelona defender too. The thing that annoys me with FFP is that it was introduced when City and Chelsea had already spent millions so trying to make that top 4 has been made harder. If we get our injured players back at the level they were playing at pre injury we won’t really need that many additions tbf UTV

I don't think Jack should leave City and City also shouldn't sell him either because Doku and Jack are the best combo rn, it's very difficult for players to deal with two different types of wingers, Jack should start and he draws defender to himself and when Doku comes on he is even more difficult to deal with so I think City should keep Jack

Many also forget how much succes Villa has bc of Jack. Villa started to grow because partly of all that the asset ‘Jack’ was sold for, because of the work of Jack Grealish and villa over all the years. It is a bigger picture. He is a great player and deserves a place to shine, which is hard to get when you play at city.

Ohhh I thought he's a world class , as usual overrated player , average at best. Villa should consider attracting European players and build solid sustainable structure to prolong thier presence in champions league
