Shock Dyno Demonstration and Shock Claim Thoughts!
Quick demonstration on the shock dyno. Also opinion on the IMCA shock claim rule.

For the majority of 35 plus years, Chassis items like shocks has always been something I have found important to work on. It is the method that has changed. Because it took multiple shocks to do what can be done with one or two shocks for each corner of the car. Moreover, I don't see why anyone would even sell their shocks for $50.00. Since it isn't going to make the guy buying those shocks any better. If as you say he doesn't unload and work on their car. Because above everything else maintenance is key for actual success in motorsports. Which has won a lot of features for drivers I have worked with in the past.

They fine you and suspend you if you deny the claim. it's a rule that was made 20 years ago when shocks were $50 a piece. They really need to get with the times.

@@CollinThirlbyRacing Yes, I remember them doing that, and I also recall the question being raised. What happens when the price of a shock is higher than 50.00 a shock. Because there were some of us that could see the shock technology trickling down from Nascar. Well here we are, and I can see this technology in your shop with the shock dino. On top of the style of shocks you are using. Not forgetting the fact these shocks can be rebuilt. Those 50.00 shocks were basically throw away shocks. If they got damaged in anyway...
