He does have a say - he gives the suggestions of players and then puts it to the board and they discuss then make an approach Sometimes it’s the other way around, but all in all the manager does have a say for sure

@@bucklr11OP is right here. Slot will not be a classic football manager. His influence in personnel will be much less than Klopp. Slot is Head Coach, his responsibility will be to get the best out of the players the club provide for him to work with.

@@MacAnPhriora that was Klopps job too to get the most out of the players Edwards etc aren’t on the touch line or at the AXA training ground every day If there’s a player that Slot has access to who wants to come to LFC then he will have a hand in that, or if there’s a player who wants to leave their current club and slot know about it, he’ll have a hand in that for sure

Slot isn't doing any deals Edwards and gang is and always will be. Slot will have a say but certainly not a final say. This is definitely more of a coach role for slot.

I really cant see slot being a success, as he wont be making the final decision on who liverpool buy. I kinda feel like liverpool will be waiting for alonso or amorin maybe next season. Hope im wrong just feel it will fail
