I am one of the fortunate who has the chance to listen to Ershad vai's guitar playing in a casual sitting. It was in my DMC Fazle Rabbi Hostel. He came for his personal errand to one of my junior colleague and to my surprise he made a brief visit to my room and with my almost broken guitar he played "pothchola"!! It is a shame back in those days we do not have a camera phone!! We were simply spell bound by his performance. We realised only a legendary musician can pull music out of nothing!! যতই নতুন ধারার সাউন্ড বা নিউ কন্সেপ্ট বলে বলে আর্টসেল আড়াল করুক না কেন, সত্যি বলতে আর্টসেল তাদের নিজস্বতা হারিয়েছে এরশাদ ভাইয়ের ইনপুট ছাড়া।। আর্টসেল এর প্রত্যেক টা ফাউন্ডার মেম্বার ই ইউনিক, ওনাদের কাউকে কেউ রিপ্লেস করতে পারবেনা,একজনের অভাব ও খুব ভালভাবে বোঝা যায়..... we miss real artcell, we miss ershad vai's guitar 🤦‍♂️❤️

এরশাদ ভাই আপনি একজনই। এমন কিছু আপনার কাছ থেকেই পাওয়া সম্ভব। রুম্মান ভাইকে নতুন করে আর কি বলবো। যেই ব্যান্ডটিকে নিজের থেকেও বেশি ভালোবাসি সেটা তো তারই লিখনি তে গড়া। অনেক পাওয়া না পাওয়ার মাঝেও ভালোবাসা আরও অনেকটুকু বাড়িয়ে দিলো শব্দাহরণ 😊

অনেক কিছু দিলেন এই গানটা দিয়ে, অনেক অনুভুতি, অনেক উন্মাদনার স্মৃতি। বয়স তখন ১২-১৩ যখন প্রথম আর্টসেল শুনি, এখন ৩৪। আরেকটা স্মৃতি স্মারক, আরেকটা উৎসবের উৎসাহে, আরেকটা গন্তব্যহীনের অপেক্ষায় থাকলাম, চাওয়াটা আপনার কাছেই cause those 4,5 or 6 cannot create a melody like this. মুল এলবামে সব ই ছিলো, পরে বাদ দিছে। এরশাদ ভাই রিলেটেড কোনো লিরিক,কম্পোজিশন রাখেনি। পরে এলিয়েনদের কনসেপ্ট এলবাম নামে একটা জোক এলবাম বানাইছে, সাথে জুয়েল ভাইকে গিটারে নিয়ে। জুয়েল ভাই কেমন? তা আমি জানিনা, তবে ওনার সাউন্ড আমার ব্যাক্তিগত ভাবে ভাল লাগেনি। আর্টসেল এর সাথে যায়না।

Many can cover Artcell guitar solos but the irony is that no one can create a fresh new guitar solo of Artcell which sounds like Artcell without him and no one could.

This is what we know and want. People are very rational today. Fans of Artcell became fans for the band's trademark sound. Even the new fans have also accepted Artcell for their uniqueness. Otritio album is just out of syllabus and not the cake being made by the guys. Artcell told in several interviews that people will take time to understand otritio. Dudes, why will they do so? People want to get touched by the songs. Lamb of God, Slipknot etc. have not changed their trademark sound. Fans just want those songs from them. Congratulations Ershad vai. This is what we actually expect.

This music took me 15+ years back when I was mesmerized by the tune of Artcell.. Leen.. Dhushor Shomoy, poth chola.. etc.. Ershad Bhai's tone and playing style still takes me to a whole new world.. But also the music made me feel sad and my ear was searching for something else.. The music has everything but the touch of riffing that builds the tension in the song and that bold voice from the other guy.. Anyway.. happy to see Ershad Bhai's songs.. hope to have more from him.. Love you bhai!
