Shnootz - Reaction Video (The Police - Synchronicity I)

What's up, people! I'm back with another Police reaction, and this time we begin going through their final album, Synchronicity (1983---sorry, I mistakenly said 1984 in the video!). And we begin with the title-track, though I didn't realize until after shooting, there are two tracks on the album with that name (identified with Roman numerals). So join me as we listen to the first of the two. Cheers!
Also I run a Patreon featuring extra content of different types, so anyone interested in supporting what we do here on KZread and getting early-access to video-watchalongs and reactions blocked on KZread, as well as behind-the-scenes videos, video-reactions, and blooper-reels from my videos, can go here: / shnootz

There were already tensions during the sessions for the previous album, Ghost in the Machine as Sting was increasingly offering pre-arranged tracks with less room for Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland so it made sense that The Police would even break up at the top (Sting already had his sights set on a solo career at this point). Synchronicity (the album, some of the songs and even the artwork available in 36 variations), it was Sting inspired by Arthur Koestler's book The Roots of Coincidence and Carl Jung's theory of synchronicity. The band opened their shows during the Synchronicity tour with "Synchronicity I" directly linked to "Synchronicity II". I saw them live in September 1983 with A Flock of Seagulls as an opening band (It was a long time ago!🙄😉)

I'm more familiar with the single Synchronisity II with it's apocalyptic video, and Sting fresh from the set of Dune, bleached hair
