The song "Shnei Shoshanim" is an Israeli folk song written by Yaacov Orland in 1945.
Orland was having his coffee with his best friend Mordechai Zeira together with their wifes in Cafe "Casitt" in Tel Aviv, which was known at that time for having the most famous people from Bohamian circles in Israel.
Suddenly came by an old woman who was selling roses. Orland and Zeira bought two roses for their wifes And so, on the coffee bench on Dizengoff Street, the song about the two roses was born.
