It was a bit scary how quickly the 'switch' could seem to flip in Lelouch. He could be so light-hearted and genuinely gentle towards his loved ones, but his ruthless side was never very far from the surface.

Man, lelouch has never lived fullfilling life. It's not about switch or flip, he was always like that. After geass accident he just get power he was always seeking for and his wish could be granted. And sacrafices that he made has to be made.

i'm only 13yrs old when this anime first see Code Geass, back then i didn't have any emotional attachment to Code Geass(I'm young and didn't understand the train of feels that given by this anime), all i thought is it was a really good anime alongside of FMA and Death Note.. then years after... a local t.v show in my country show a full season of Code Geass and R2.. i'm hook up cos its cool to watch it again.. then i realize that fuckin hell, this anime is amazing and sad at the same time, one of the best anime that i've ever watch in my childhood.. now i'm gonna turn 24 this 21 of April :)

I always find this bit interesting. Though some people think Lelouch "switched" modes he's basically not changing. After all, he's pretty upset for the sake of his friends having had their memories messed with. Also, yes Shirley is adorable and Lelouch is a househusband, proof is right here.

I mean it's not that he's faking it. This is only a side of Lelouch. Lamperougue is his much more warm, soft and friendly side, while in contrast, Zero is the more ruthless, cold and calculating aspect of himself. The only person who he ever shows his true self is C.C.

Happy that she is alive movie but all the moments with lelouch is gone 😑😑😑 But both are live in the alternate ending ( movie) and both are dead in the series ( which is canon) The ship has sailed

I really enjoy the SoL aspect within the Ashford and the student council. It sets a very chill tone to balance out the chaos and destruction during Zero persona. Also It really humanize Lelouch

It's the sort of thing that you can really only pull off with TV shows and other types of long-form story telling. The slice of life episodes are some of my favorites in the series, and they make the drama and tragedy of the show feel much more real in contrast.

Lelouch have different Personalities around his 3 love interest: Lelouch is a bit gentle, friendly, nice and simple approaching guy around Shirley. I also notices that if somehow Lelouch is just a normal guy, not wanting to destroy Britannia Empire then he and Shirley would be possible. He doesn't say and show anything on Shirley because he wanted to keep things privately but I'm sure it is his other way to not to let Shirley be involved in his current life. Lelouch is a bit authorative, direct, playful around Kallen. He always gives her hints or clues about his plans. He maybe want Kallen to trust him more so it would be easy for him to guide and lead the Black Knights? (😅 am I right?) or the people in Area 11. I notice that somehow Lelouch is a bit on guard so that he won't fall in love with her or vice versa, to put walls around him and her so they can stay as what they are. 🤔 Lelouch is more likely open, rude, impatient and serious around C.C so in this part, I can say that C.C is important to him for an unknown reason. I'm certain that it isn't about the power she gave or the promised he made to her. It is just somehow, he wanted to protect C.C because of her current state (Well we all know who C.C is and her role/life is kinda tragic). I notice that Lelouch is somewhat troubled whenever C.C uhmmm flirts with him? Or close to him? 😅 I mean C.C's gestures are somewhat hard to read so maybe Lelouch don't rely on those things and he always keep his hands off him due to he's not into those things... But to whom would you like to ship Lelouch with? And why? 🤔 I'm curious.

I prefer C.C. She’s accepted Lelouch whom she’d seen every facet of, even his delicate side. The other two betrayed/would betray him because they wouldn’t understand him or refuse to. She’s the only one who would stick through for Lelouch for who he is, not just the one side that the other two see him as. What about you?

They are my 2nd ship (before they're my 1st ship but no I changed) I prefer Shirley with Lelouch because of what happened to her when she was dying. If I were Shirley I will kill Lelouch after hearing the truth but Shirley didn't she's in fact confessed that she loves him and if she had a chance to understand Lelouch she'll do everything to know Lelouch more and support him even though Lelouch is the one's responsible for Shirley's dad death. Because of that, I appreciate Shirley that she do love Lelouch unconditionally even though there is a lot of things she don't understand and she should hate about him. She still chooses to show it to Lelouch how much she loves him. C.C might always have with Lelouch at all cost but she's lack of showing her real emotions towards Lelouch but it's fine. It's her personality and I don't hate her with that. I just like someone who's the same as Shirley.

I understand, if I would choose between Kallen or Shirley, Shirley would’ve definitely fit Lelouch better. I don’t really like Kallen as a character (I don’t know why...there’s just something about her that I don’t like OTHER THAN THE FACT SHE BETRAYED LELOUCH). But if Lelouch was immortal, then C.C. x Lelouch would be the most fitting

Yeah they weren't holding him back. And I'm sure he wished he could be with them. He just needed to be away to protect them. I'm sure many of his friends would be willing to help if they knew the plan was for him to die to achieve world peace. Hell Suzaku hated Leoluch and even he was willing to help.

All of their teachers and classmates went back to the homeland. He only altered the memories of the ones who are in the student council. Maybe the emperor ordered them to go to the homeland, changed their memories and send them back to Japan.
