Shirabad Waterfall is one of the famous natural attractions in northern Iran and is known as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country. Located in Golestan Province, this waterfall is also called Khan Bebin Waterfall. It is a popular destination for travelers and nature enthusiasts.
Shirabad Waterfalls are a series of several large and small waterfalls nestled in the forests of Golestan Province. Situated in Shirabad village, about 55 kilometers from Gorgan, this village is located between Aliabad Katoul and Azadshahr in Ramian County, Golestan Province.
To reach Shirabad Waterfalls, you first start from Khan Bebin and head to Shirabad village. After about 2 kilometers from this village, you'll reach a dirt road that leads to the waterfalls.
To see Shirabad Waterfalls, you need to hike through the forests of Golestan Province. In this journey, you'll enjoy the freshness and beauty of nature. Walking in an environment where only the sound of birds can be heard and the tranquility of the forest surrounds you will create unforgettable memories.
After a short hike, you'll reach the Shirabad Waterfalls complex. These waterfalls consist of 12 cascades arranged one after another. The rushing water has formed pools at the base of the falls, perfect for swimming and diving.
Shirabad Waterfall is a collection of several waterfalls artistically arranged together. However, many travelers usually only visit the first waterfall, missing out on the beauty of the others. The first waterfall, with a height of 25 meters, is usually the most crowded. But if you go a little further, you'll discover other waterfalls, each taller and less crowded than the last.
Shirabad is a forested area with cool weather, welcoming travelers throughout the year. However, the waterfalls can sometimes have chilly weather, making it less suitable for summer trips. Therefore, it's best to visit during spring, especially from late March to early June.
