Die Filmaufnahmen entstanden am Nord-Ostsee-Kanal in den Abschnitten von Rendsburg bis zur Schleuse in Kiel-Holtenau und an der Kieler Förde von Laboe aus bis zur Kieler Hörn, dem Ende der Kieler Förde.
Wichtige aktuelle Hinweise:
Das Ufer des Nord-Ostsee-Kanals kann nur von Fußgängern und Radfahrern benutzt werden. Einige Streckenabschnitte sind jedoch wegen Bauarbeiten zum Teil längerfristig (!) gesperrt.

The film footage was taken on the Kiel Canal in the sections from Rendsburg to the lock in Kiel-Holtenau and on the Kiel Fjord from Laboe to the Kieler Hörn, the end of the Kiel Fjord.
Important current information: The banks of the Kiel Canal can only be used by pedestrians and cyclists. However, some sections of the route are closed for a long time (!) due to construction work. Information is available here:
