Fifa 07 memories 🎉🎉🎉

Fun fact this song was originally a trance song. Two members of this band were part of an electronic dance act called Syder and they released this song in 2001 probably most memorable for being in GTA 3. They then formed Shiny Toy Guns in 2002 and decided to make another version of this song.

This was mine and my first love of 10yrs song. Funny cheesy story.. We broke up for like a year but this was his ringtone on my phone when he called. I had no other ringtones set for anyone else. My phone got literally shattered and I could not use it unless someone called me first. Like I said we had been broken up... and I was a wreck the entire year break. It was 3am and I was taking a hot relaxing bath. My phone was on the counter and all of the sudden it rings I hear "you are the one.. you'll never be alone again". I jumped out of the bathtub in disbelief that he was calling me. It had been a year since I talked to him. We got back together and dated for a few more years after that. But today we are no longer together. I come listen to this every now and then and it's just so nostalgic. I really..... really miss those days...

First time hearing this. Still sounds fresh and relevant in 2022. Loving it on repeat mode. Great music.

Love the duality of voices. Seen them live in Winnipeg and this is the performance I was looking for. The way Carah moves, sings and comes in...synergy. The band just had this awesome energy. I'll never find that same vibe, but this is as close as it gets.

Shiny Toy Guns are one of those bands that makes great music, but simply can't reproduce the sound live. That doesn't mean they're bad, just means their music relies too much on post production and sound editing to sound great. Same with pretty much any form of electronica.

Playback is strong with this one.

Mikey martin is the best drummer and by far the best part of this band. I saw them perform in san francisco. They were several hours late and did not start until about 3 am and mikey blew the whole thing apart he's amazing to watch in person!

First saw them in Hollywood @ “the Element” in 2006. They opened with this song. The venue was tiny but the acoustics were incredible. Still get chills to this day remembering that night.

Só a tropa do fifa 07 aqui. Meu primeiro fifa foi o 05… memórias que não voltam nunca mais… Época de ouro, sempre fazia minhas carreiras com o Newcastle… naquela época eles tinham um time maneiro pra fazer um Road to Glory. Até hoje jogo pelo emulador.

Bromoteknada and others that are ignorant about live performances. They aren't necessarily lip-syncing it's called a "click track". It has parts of the songs that are impossible to play with a limited number of members in the band when playing live. The drummer will hear the metronome (which the audience can't hear) in an earpiece or headphones to keep the beat and the track may include backup vocals, bass lines, extra synth effects and various guitar riffs. It's normal and a professional trick to "perfect" live sounds. Though, I don't like the fact that the click track included ALL of the vocals. It doesn't sound good with all vocals doubled.
