Waiting on my plane to return home. I just spent two weeks in Japan based out of Hotel Gracery in Shinjuku. My first night I arrived and was checked in by 8pm and went to Kabukicho Tower for dinner. I was absolutely blown away. The food, music, lights, energy. Hell of a hello from Japan. I'm sad to be going home.

When it comes to Gov metropolitan building generally the west exits will get you 10-15 min walk away, All the other mentioned attractions are walkable from Shinjuku. I suggest you use one of the maps within the station to help you with the exit. Shinjuku is prob the worlds most complicated station so don't worry if you get lost! (It's a right of passage) lol
