This is how you give the fans their money's worth. Seriously. I'd pay 200 bucks for this shit even with 25K other fans because of the super high quality of the performance/singing/dancing. They are earning their paycheck and it shows. This should be the gold standard for live performances in Kpop. WAYV stop lip syncing LOL. What's amazing about this video is that multiple members are having mic problems during Ring Ding Dong, yet they cover each other so effortlessly. When Jonghyun's mic goes out Onew sings in his place. When both Jonghyun and Onew's mics drop Key steps in and hypes the crowd so they aren't distracted. They are SO PROFESSIONAL. Tech problems happen in live shows and you just gotta roll with it but other groups can't seem to improvise with such grace. SHINee are kings!

It's a little bit of talent and A LOT of *skill* . Jonghyun was such a SKILLED vocalist that he could really make his voice do whatever he wanted. I could probably count on one hand the number of idols that could do that. His vocal prowess is forever unmatched

Because it was live at that moment they performed but if it's edited like this that means most of the time they already put synced vocals over the performance. It's easy when you know what to listen for for example, there is no way for any of the labored breathing not to be transmitted over the mic and also there should be some background echo captured if it's live but evidently none of it was in this recording. So this is not the live recording of the stage.

@@deeharper1364 This is very clearly not overdubbed, 2:09 onwards to 2:25 is clear enough. 6:51 even more obvious, jonghyun is absolutely overpowering the backtrack, plus look at his and Onew's vowel shapes, and compare the sound from minhos part which his mouth is barely open and he sounds quiet compared to how loud onew and jonghyun are since they are projecting so much due to the wide vowel shape. Videos from the crowd show the same audio track. The chorus of ring ding dong is not live and 3:26 to 2:05 are not live, and chorus isnt live due to choreography. All verses are live and adlibs too. No group sings live more than SHINee in k-pop. Syncing vocals isn't widely used in k-pop as it would be in other genres. They opt for backtrack while singing over it, sometimes skipping lines if they are too out of breath, rather than using autotune like is more popular in western pop.

@@deeharper1364 clearly you are not SHINee’s fan. They practice singing while running, jogging, exercising, they sing live in rehearsal. This is very important they didn’t just pretend singing, they really sang live during **rehearsal**, it’s what Jjong’s request for members to do so, its special advice he gave Taemin when Taem was on Japan’s tour and just in cast you dont know, they’re terrible lip syncing. It cracks me up every time when someone pops in SHINee vids saying nahh this cant be real, their voice are too stable. Bitch plz, they’re veteran singers, who are in this industry for 15 years so why not?! .. maybe you also didn’t know this every time when they’re on music shows, some staffs would rush to the front stage just to watch them. Can your group hold that much power? 😂 Maybe you’re way too used to this new gens, acting all cute poses, focusing on how to look good on stage but cant sing live during performance. Even when SHINee recorded studio choom, Jinki sang his part live coz he’s not used to lip syncing. Taemin was sick during SuperM tour but still, he sang it live coz his hyungs taught him well. SHINee is a group consists with 5 members who sing live stably while dancing hard my dear. They’re idols of idols just in case you don’t know yet.

What an overwhelming, devastating loss to SHINee and the whole K-Pop industry, when Jonghyun ended his life. Incredible talent and he contributed so much to musical creativity. To this day, 5 1/2 years later, it is still difficult to fathom why. I have opinions that I will keep to myself, but how I wish he could have found someone or something that could have relieved the despair he was going through. SHINee is still a great group, and I love the music they have released since Jonghyun left us, but I will always feel the loss of his presence. 🩵

I've never been to a SHINee concert before. I feel sad that I will never get a chance to see Jonghyun perform live anymore. He's an astounding performer and has that kind of aggressive and powerful aura that I think other rookie idols lack. I think even if you're not a shawol, it is obvious that Jonghyun had something that is hard to find or replicate. What a legend.

I've said "I have yet to find a SHINee song I don't love," but honestly, this here is the real reason I love SHINee. I don't like to use the phrase "gave me chills," but this performance had my heart pounding by the end of it. Even through a screen, years after the fact. If you wanted to put together a team of 5 people, with the goal of creating the best possible group of performers, then you don't have to put in any effort, because SHINee already is that.

Jonghyun’s voice brings me such joy and also makes me sad to know the world will never experience it again.I'm late to the Shinee party but he was such an amazing performer who clearly gave his all. *sigh* May he rest in peace.

Just wow. Jonghyun and Onew are awesome singers. Jonghyun held that note in Lucifer for a loooong time. So talented

They didn't stop for a second 😯 Insane performance while singing live. The 2nd gen will always be unique

Jonghyun's vocals oh my god!! he literally gave his all on stage. Onew's high notes as well. Shinee will forever shine brightly. Such great performers.

I came here because I wanted to hear Jonghyun's long and high tone voice again. I think this is one of Shinee's best performance videos. I don't know anyone else who sings and dances so hard. Jonghyun, please rest in peace.

I love some of current KPop songs, but i rewatched some of Shinee songs, must admit there are something more powerful in this KPop generation. The songs aren't easily forgotten and the performance is Extraordinary

I met SHINee 6 months ago. I first saw the video of Jonghyun's funeral and started looking for information about him. Then I found their performance and it was Everybody. I am amazed and addicted to their live performances. This is a very high level, such energy, such voices and atmosphere. I have not seen any group in the K-pop industry of the same level. I'm so sorry that I found out about these 5 kings years later... I didn't become a shawol during Jonghyun's lifetime. Our dear Angel Kim Jonghyun, I watch your videos over and over and rest assured that I, like billions of people, will say that you did a damn good job!

Even after all this time, this performance still gives me goosebumps. Jonghun's voice was so rich, he had such power and threw every ounce of himself into every note. He had that real rock and roll voice that had theatrical technique. Such a loss.

SHINee, my gateway into kpop, my first and probably my forever favorite. Love them all but Jonghyun was always so special to me, and watching this today, did he not always give it his all? Every moment he sings, I get chills. A true star.

Jonghyun’s vocal prowess is undeniable and that will always remain in the hearts of Shawols forever!!!❤️❤️❤️

*I adore how does each one of them give their all in each performance as if it the first & last one. But tbh, although all of their are no joke but Jonghyuna's vocals are in a different level.*

The fun thing is I found Minho, Taemin, and Onew independently before actually listening to Shinee, Minho and Taemin through their solo music, and Onew through "Descendants of the Sun"

I don’t think there will ever be another band like SHINee. These boys are so passionate about their performances, you can see the energy just bursting out of them. Every single member has insane qualities that compliment each other so well. I’ve been a fan for over a decade and til this day they keep surprising me and making me more proud every single day! ❤️

I'm a baby Shawol. I've known of Shinee only from my then-teen kids some years back, but I never proactively listened to Shinee's music nor tried to know more about them. I just knew Minho was from Shinee when I saw Hwarang. Later, I happened to watch SuperM's kdrama challenge. Taemin was significant and I remembered his face and name. Still, I didn't know he was from Shinee, let alone the maknae. Just weeks ago, I was helping a friend put together a kpop playlist. As I explored artists on my own, I came across this and it was this specific live performance that got me hooked. And a new baby Shawol was born! Sorry I'm late, but I'm here to stay!

I never stanned SHINee but I’ve been listening to their song and albums lately, they were so good and now I’m kind of sad I didn’t listen to them sooner. 😭

Did not hear any new groups singing and dancing like this on a live, with harmonies and all.

I'm here on 2024/01/02 and I'm still pretty sure that Lucifer it's a masterpiece, I'm an army, and had the pleasure to met shinee for Jimin, and what a gift, sincerely, shinee was the kings of 2nd gen

All these men have golden voices🔥 Let's always remember SHINee as a group with amazing singers not just for Jonghyun's suicide. Very good singers, catchy music and nice people 🤍
