Sadly I discovered Shinee after they lost their beautiful friend. They have been a beautiful example of carrying on despite utter heartache and I love them for it. The new groups all have strong elements of Shinee's work and I definitely feel they are under appreciated. I have so much love and respect for them.

This comeback is SO MEANINGFUL. From the choreography, to the song to the MV....all of it. Something that really hit me was that they didn't really look at the camera! I'm so used to idols looking into the camera...they're instructed to catch cameras. But its like the camera's didn't exist for them. They were simply performing, connecting with each other, with SHAWOL and certainly with JONGHYUN. BEAUTIFUL stage SHINee. This isn't about winning for them. This comeback is about healing, honoring, support and LOVE. SHINee is amazing.

The edm here is just straight up pop, the best thing I can compare these sounds to are legends like avicii and Martin Garrix. These songs sound like their music. Like have you heard Martin Garrix and Bebe rexha's in the name of love? It sounds like that. Their song countless reminds me of avicii. And if that's what you're comparing SHINee to then I'm all in, because western music nowadays is trap, rap, and pop-edm fusion. I love the urban pop and rap part though, songs like sunflower are beautiful.

It takes me 2 years to realize that they didnt look at the cameras. We all can feel the sincerity out of this performance

i love how they barely look toward the camera and having their eyes close or looking far away instead. And also the dynamic of the dance, sometimes they'll just sit and another time they'll run and dancing with such big move. I don't know it's just.. i can feel the energy and emptiness from the visual aspect and the warmth from the audio aspect at the same time. And they didn't try to hid the fact that one piece is missing, but they also show that they're trying their best to be stronger and support each other. This is just beautiful. Thank you SHINee, we love youu!!

One thing I noticed on this performance is that there where not much interaction with the audience. I mean we're all used to them singing facing the camera, but here, it's just different. I agree esp since in the MV, the members are covered in a plastic wrapping while there's paint dripping over them. Therefore, I enjoy how this idea is still used in the performance. Their bright clothes and hair juxtaposes how they're feeling.

I noticed this too. I was watching the entire thing with chills building up in me. They look colorful, but their choreography is sobering. Like their saying, "hey i'm wearing this suit that y'all known me wear, trying my best to live forward even if i'm not fine yet.. because i believe that the goodness in life is coming soon." It's very real and relatable to anyone who's going through something difficult. It's been a while since i felt emotional in watching a comeback performance. It's sad but its lovely. I agree. I honestly think I'm like the only person on the planet who tries to vote for performance I actually think is the best. I've voted seventeen over my biased group before because seventeen has stunning choreography. But it really is a popularity contest.

Its clear in their eyes that they're still hurting but they also are healing. Yes it's only been 5 months but maybe this is what they need(ed). I am so proud of them to be able to hold their concert in Japan and this come back. None of this is easy and there are going to be rumors but we as a family need to stand together. The boys need us, there isn't time to fight between us or with other fandoms.

This performance is one of a kind. You can really see them individually pour their hearts out into this song and stage. I noticed that they really avoided direct eye contacts with the camera which is really touching because it seems like they're in their own world and we, the public, are just observing them. SHINee truly are a work of art.

realy onions I think everyone is in love with Onews vocal color

To me, its as if they're mourning Jonghyun when they're not dancing much and sitting on the chair. They're moving their head in disbelief, then they slowly kind of walk around, but not the fight that they usually put in their dances. Once the rap starts and they sit on the chair, it's as if they're bonding together over the loss and slowly they get up and towards the end they start dancing like their life is on the line. Its as if they showed the grief period and how they're trying to keep together and perform together in the end. Life moves on, but they're connected through music and dance with each other, with shawols, and of course with Jonghyun. That's my two cents tho.

I'm still so into this. Everything about this is just perfect.

I imagine Jonghyun, on the stage, performing, dancing, smiling or the crowd, as one with Shawols.

Remember views, ratings, and streaming doesn't mean much to Shinee all they really want is love and support. All of them even Jonghyun has always said this. So I hope shawols won't fight with other shawols/ or other fandoms anymore or worry to much about streaming and everything. You can still stream and vote all that stuff just don't stress yourself over it okay? Have fun and support them when ever you have free time or not buzy. Let's be happy for them. ❤️

I've been putting off their comeback for months, you can tell they are sad. There is no light in their eyes just darkness, but the emotions shown in their come back. I can't imagination how hard it was to start preforming again, knowing that it was just the four of them. My heart goes out to them.

MercyTheFox Yes, it must have been very hard, but at the same time I feel like it was a very good decision - for them to go on stage and feel all the emotions with their fans. Now it’s almost a year later and the situation is much better. Taemin looks the happiest when he’s performing. I was so moved watching clips from his Sirius tour and from his latest concerts in Seoul. He looked absolutely happy and thrilled to be with his loving fans and I really loved it :)

Can we please stop comparing groups & having the "Who paved the way" debate. I have been a K-Popper since 2009 thanks to Rain oppa's 'Hip Song' & I haven't looked back since. My 1st SHINee song was 'Ring Ding Dong' & I watched 'Hello Baby' at that time as well which made me fall in love with them even more. My 1st BTS song was 'Boy In Luv' & I watched their 'Bangtan Bombs' which made me love them more. All the members were close friends with each other & BTS looked up to SHINee as well. To say who is better is impossible because they BOTH are amazing. Jungkook & Jin's vocals would match well with Onew & Jonghyun. The rap line would match well with Minho & Key while Jimin's vocals would go well with Taemin. I mean, Could you imagine a collab with these groups?. Our world exploded from the sheer epicness of Taemin & Jimin dancing together on the same stage. So let's appreciate our boys because they work hard to keep us happy & entertained. 😭🌹💙💚💙💚💙💚#RestWellJonghyun #Kings
