More than a rock band, a band of brothers, sons, fathers and men who aren’t ashamed to admit their weaknesses, mistakes and shortcomings. The world and all of us need to be more like Shinedown.

So incredible what Shinedown does for mental health. This is awesome especially for the people who think no one is listening, or feel they have no one to talk to. Y'all are great people, a band of brothers, keep doing what you're doing.

I cried the whole time through the songs and stories. I always felt alone until you guys came along. Shinedown and Shinedown nation, thank you for your music and nation, you all are so supportive. Without Shinedown I don't know what I'd do. I finally graduated a health program 7 months ago after trying other programs. We're all strong despite our hardships and we're all human❤

So most of my life I have been abused, sexually, emotionally, verbally and physically...I have felt like I don't belong here , anywhere really... and then I became a health care provider and found my passion in home Healthcare. This song has spoken to me and saved me. I cry almost every time I hear it. You guys are the best band ever to your fans! I've seen you twice in Michigan and you have a fan for life, but also a fan! Thank you Shinediwn for saving me too!

Sitting here watching!!!!!! Beyond inspiring. As a 2 and a half time suicide survivor (yes....half meaning I admitted myself because I knew where I was heading). I suffer from ptsd from childhood memories of violence, sexual abuse. And deal with bipolar and anxiety. My goal now is helping others with their mental issues/everyday strength to make them strong. Currently working with 2 in there 20's. This song explains why we're all a symptom of being human. Every day is a battle, but as long as we remember our strength and that were not alone, we can conquer our inner demons. Much love and support to all!!!!

At 65 years of age, Shinedown has been one of my favorite bands for almost 20 years. The music speaks to so many people, including myself. I have shared this video with many of my close dear friends. I could not agree more that we are all a work in progress. Thank you for what you guys do. Don’t ever stop.David Dreman does something similar in the middle of a Disturbed concert. He says if I can help save one person it was worth it. You guys rock. Thanks again.

Makes me Cry in a Good Way

This band heals you. Their songs are so relatable to anyone who suffers from mental health issues ... Which is oart of being human, we all suffer at some point in our lives . I have struggled with depression, for majority of my life. These songs help me, I dont feel as alone, i feel like someone understands me, they sing the words i can't say . I would post exactly the reasons as to why if feel like this .... But its been so long and so much . I just cant.

I have the symptoms of being Human Tatoo. We all have a story & you guys are more then a Band ' you love & care about your fans ! ❤️ amazing you are!

This hits close to home. My mom suffers from manic depression and she had a lot of mental breakdowns when I was growing up. It not only takes mental but a physical toll.

I lost my partner of 17 years Sunday morning in a terrible car crash... without this music I'd be laying in the morgue next to him

i love them they have helped me though all the hard time. i went to their last show in denver colorado on october 20,2023 and i cried at one point and sang to every song

This is why they are my favorite band of all time.

Remember that you are all a spark of creator, and much ore that any Angel, a divine light, don't let the darkness drag you down, keep on shining.

I think the Library was such a really good idea. Thanks for sharing this with us. I just turned 42 and I still struggle with a lot. I still feel like I don't belong half the time and it's made me super introverted. At least I don't feel alone when I listen to your music ❤

@shinedown saved my life. Pulled me out of addiction. Out of the dark places that my abuse has taken me! My daughter and my wife are my daylight! Helped me realize I deserve to be loved. And that I have a heart ❤️ full of love!

I’m 64 years old. Been there done that (I won’t elaborate), we all know. What has happened and is happening in this world is terrifying. What has gotten me through is my music (your music). And much more. After COVID I started to really listen to music and started to smile again. I am a life long depressed woman. A very proud mom and I (on good days) can still kick butts. Keep it up with the music and for everyone out there please keep yourself going…get help do what you can because at 64 it is good to be here. Much love.

In one of my dark self hating suicidal days I laid on my couch listening to you for hours and hours. "Unity" for atleast an hour. Crying. Hanging on.

Thank you guys for being more than just a band. You don't know how many times your lyrics have pulled me out of a hole. I have been diagnosed with ptsd, depression, anxiety. I've got myself clean from alcohol and drugs, I survived sexual abuse and anorexia and 3 attempts at removing myself from this world. I'm now a proud mom of 4 beautiful kids, married my best friend. I can't ever put into words just how much you all mean to not just me but every one of your fans!! ❤

Shinedown's symptom library is one of those things that you never really see coming, but you're nonetheless grateful for it being there. Loved every second of the video! Can't wait to see what's next!

I will start by saying Shinedown literally sings to my soul in so many ways Your songs have touched my life year after year My son has struggled with addiction for so long and we've supported him until we had to make the hardest decision a parent could make and break away from the pain we've endured for so long when the state removed his 3 kids..our grandchildren and were brought to us and our priorities quickly changed to keeping them safe We eventually adopted all 3 kids because both parents lost their parental rights The kids have been with us since 2017 officially adopted since 2019 2boys ages 8 and 6 at the time of removal from their parents and a baby girl only 17mnths when removed They are now 14,12, and 8 and we are all still dealing with the aftermath We are all struggling with mental health issues and the hardest part for me is to fight off my own struggles and the guilt of not making this about my problems and continue to remind myself it's not that fault they've been dealt the worse hand any child could be dealt but I struggled everyday with how I can continue to guide them when I'm feeling so lost and alone
