1st concert in 09 was them in my freshman year of college in Columbia SC, then they came to my hometown of simpsonville this summer. 10 years apart, and they sounded even better than when I first saw them. amazing

His voice is so much better when they preform this live., It's amazing.

Great Band, great cover. You could dive down this rabbit hole as well. Sound of Madness is my favorite by them.

Shinedown is the most underrated band ever. Brent's voice gives me chills and goosebumps at the same time. I've seen them many times in concert and they never disappoint. We need more Shinedown on these reaction channels! Check out Diamond Eyes and Brent with Apocalyptica. The song is called Not Strong Enough

When listing albums, you forgot Amaryllis between SoM and Threat.

Was hesitant but this sounds good. First time I can remember hearing Shinedown.

Dudes got a powerful voice. The crow and the butterfly is a hanger too

Sound of madness and enemies are both great songs for you and some of my favorite ones

My favorite band out there today and they did an amazing job on this. Listen to sound of madness, the whole CD is fire. Listen to save me. He gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it. Such emotion

A little fun fact about this cover. Former lead guitarist for Shinedown Jasin Todd was , or is married to Ronnie Van Zants’s daughter. Her and her mother own a music venue in Jacksonville Beach Florida. Shinedown use to play there. They did this cover as a tribute to the Van Zants. After Jasin Todd left the band, they said they wouldn’t perform the song again. That didn’t last long. A few years later they started performing the song again.

There are multiple connections between Shinedown and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Both bands are from Jacksonville, Florida. Shinedown's original guitarist Jasin Todd is married to Melody Van Zant, the daughter of the late Ronnie Van Zant, Skynyrd's lead singer. In the early days Shinedown used to play at a venue called Freebird Live in Jacksonville Beach. Freebird Live is owned by Judy Van Zant, Ronnie's widow, and Shinedown would always sing "Simple Man" as a thank you to her and a tribute to Ronnie. The little girl in this video with the picture - that picture is of her grandfather, Ronnie Van Zant. The best comment I've seen regarding these connections is "people don't realise that Shinedown is Lynyrd Skynyrd family".

You could make 15 videos off of Shinedown songs. They are fantastic. So many hits and they are incredibly talented. Seeing them in this video and others like Sound of Madness compared to how they look now is crazy haha. I just saw them in concert in October and they performed this.. it gave me chills. Please, PLEASE do more Shinedown. I along with damn near everyone else could probably give you at least 10 other hit songs they've released that would be great, and they all vary in sound and style.
