Brent is a class act, as well as the rest of the band .. an incredibly humble, inspirational, and grateful group of talent .. kinda rare in the rock music industry.

I remember seeing them for the second time in Huntington WV, and it was a good show but so chaotic. Fire alarm went off half way through the show and never stopped. Power went out twice. Fan in front row passes out, and a drunk couple in front of me were fist fighting and shouting at one another.
I worked in a restaurant and waited on Ed and his then fiancé, now widow, and he was the coolest dude and so down to earth. His death is the only celebrity death that brings out tears in me

That was a great show! .. like 600 people, by promotional invitation only. My girlfriend is a Shinedown fanatic and through many text exchanges, with whoever manages their social media, she got an email with the tickets, .. and we got interviewed by Sirius/XM when leaving. The Orange Peel .. cool venue.
I remember catching Brent outside their room of the quest center in Omaha, when they were opening for VH. I wonder if Eddie was pissed that day, Sammy was late and he looked pretty frustrated at sound check.
