Amen brother. You are preaching to the choir. I don't understand why they don't get the air time. I have heard people bitch about not hard enough or everything sounds just alike. Huh ?? Bullshit. Not heavy enough ? Sound of madness, black soul, devour, planet zero, save me, enemies?? None of those are heavy enough ? Ànd powerful, positive messages ? I've seen them twice live and smith and myers once in the soul kitchen mobile Al. Arenas and a small club. Loved Chris Cornell and Chester and scot weiland. But Brent is neck and neck with those guys. He's the best voice alive in rock to me.

I have just watched "Monsters" and just immediately felt like rewatching all the previous videos from the album, because it is such a good piece of rock music art.

For me, Shinedown has never wrote a bad song! Pay attention to the band, they are connected to the phenomenon. If you don't believe me just try to write a song yourself! Brent Smith is a very special human. Thank God for the light that shines down upon you, this band is some of that light .

I know some were disappointed by their last album (not me I really enjoyed it) so this probably feels like a return to form. The song is a masterpiece

My son decided it was time to update my music from the Beatles and the rolling Stones. He showed me shinedown and I was just in love. He is by far the best singer I have ever heard and I listen to him everyday. He has a God gifted voice.

Never was really into them until I went to a live concert.....they put on a show!!

They know a lot. Thank God for them putting it out there. Everything has meaning... Gold all over the room.. If it makes even one person wonder and open their eyes it's one soul saved. Cuz it's about to get HEAVY. Ya they know. Dark to Light. God Wins!

A pure, raw, and artfully aggressive song that gets in your head on many levels. Smith's voice is GOLD, and the guitar work on this song is some of the best I've heard from Myers. That fill at the 2:00 mark before the transition back to the verse is sweet. They were missing such elements on the last album (not to say it was bad or anything). The video is straight forward and fits the song. I can't wait for the new album! I've been a fan since their start (like 2004). I just hope there's more than one heavier song like this because this song is so promising and is a much needed jolt to the senses in the genre. Smith has such an impressive range, and the band as a whole have proven they can do practically any style of rock very well. Shinedown, if you ever check this, I just want to say thank you for your inspiring music and dedication to true music! You've been the constant reminder that hard rock and great song writing in the genre is still very much alive. -Peace

I really liked a few tracks from Threat to Survival. Outlast probably being my favorite, it comes closest to having those raw, aggressive riffs and beats and lyrics that they're best at. Super underrated track. But a several tracks from it I found a little too soft and poppy for my taste. Like Thick as Thieves, for example. I don't hate it, it just doesn't do it for me; it's not what I want from Shinedown.

Man, why are people mad at for people finding this song through Apex or WWE2K? We’re all here for the same reason, we are all here to listen to this song.
