Tandav is supposed to be a furious performance. One which breaks the earth and tears open the sky. This looks like showing a mere posture in comparison. Still credit to the developers as they knew about Shiva's tandav.

@@Ausar_Maat well, there's a pretty good reason for why that's the case. Besides being a catch-all term when referring to the various mythological figures and deities, God wanted to be the only worshipped deity within the various SMT universes, so he forced all of the othet gods and goddesses down to that of demons. I could be misremembering why this is the case, so you may have to look that up just in case.

Which is why you gotta fuse him with overleveled fodder. He'll get insane free stats, like I have a lvl 50 Cironnup(Don't judge me, I like the little fox munchkin) and anything I fuse him into gets HUGE buffs. Like 30+ bonus stats in agility for example.

I don't know what to call a favorite for these unique skills. Megido Flame drops a meteor. Gungnir has a level of impact that is obscene. Keraunos, Kerak, and Astral Saintstrike are insane for every single second the attack happens. Fallen Destroyer is brutal as heck and Fire of Sinai is glorious to behold. Even some of the smaller scale skills like Eternal Blizzard, Sacrifice of Clay, and Jack Bufula were great to look at. These are all great.

Fallen Destroyer is literally just DBZ beam spam if it ever actually worked. And I love it.

Shiva’s Tandava and Abdiel’s Fallen Destroyer are definitely my favorite

The 8 year long wait for this game was worth it. SMT V is almost a perfect game and definitely one of the best in the mainline series.

SMT IV and SMT IV: Apocalypse are ones I recommend playing one right after the other because while they’re alternate timelines; it would make sense to play IV first then Apocalypse because when I was playing Apocalypse I was heavily confused on how Merkabah and Lucifer got to the underground area to begin with. The thing with Flynn and his outfit, how he got there and such. I had to play IV to get that understanding.

@@siic Every SMT has a different storyline. Gameplay-wise they became what you see here on Nocturne (SMTI and II are classic Megaten games with the half-assed FPS labyrinth not many gamers even before were willing to sit through). If you've got a modern console, giving some love to SMT3 is in order, if you've got a 3DS: SMTIV is the way to go. If you only got a Switch, don't be afraid. You'll learn the ropes as you go! It's even better here, the olde SMT games didn't held your hand at all until IV.

Khonsu and Zeus got the best looking skills in the game just straight up savagery

My favourite among these is Idun and Yoshitsune's unique ability. Idun's heal also gives all buff to all allies, saving turns, and if added with high heal pleroma and Bowl of Hygieia, it is a very strong heal. If Tao is not removed in neutral ending, she would be my favourite healer, but she does and Idun became a close second for my healer/support replacement. Yoshitsune's skill guarantees critical to almost all enemies, making it a safe skill to grab. If they enemy is resistant to physical, i just make him a semi-tank instead by having a null physical and fierce roar. For non-unique favourite, for me it's Loki. because he as + affinity to all 4 basic element, making him quite flexible to cast and exploit weakness to many monster. For nahobino, I focus on semi-support, dark and almighty build. So with these team comp, I am almost fully covered for most of the game run.

I'd say use Impaler's Animus on Yoshi instead of making him a tank there are a lot better demons for tanking If that's what you need due to Yoshi's natural resistances are not that good and you don't really waste a turn on Impaler's Animus since hassou tobi will give you back that turn

@@dljb7463 months too late but to answer who those 2 Philippine folk creatures are, Kapre is a mystical giant/ogre or something similar that loves to smoke while Tiyanaks are demonic infants said to be either vengeful spirits of aborted children or a changeling that mimics infants that lures unsuspecting people with their cries. Other examples are Tikbalang, a reverse centaur and Aswang, Filipino versions of ghoul/vampires.

strange thing is her guest design in SMT IV (and i believe in IV: Final as well, cannot remember if she was playable there) did have one. Charming Bolt, i believe it was titled. High Electric damage to all enemies with a chance to Charm.

Hey I got a question about Hell Biker, I think I used him against Amanozako and used Hell Burner on her, but for some reason, her Heavenly Counter activated, despite mentioning that it works on strength based attacks. Does his attack work as such despite not mentioning it, or am I dumb, cause I did also use fire gems at the fight?

Hmm, that's weird. Yeah she should only counter ''physical'' or ''str'' attacks. Hell Burner is based Fire, maybe you used Hell Spin that is physical? Anything magic or elemental related she should not counter or I'm wrong. Heavenly Counter ''Chance to counter St-based attack with light dmg, Tarunda'' I could understand ''Draco Strikes'' being counterd and ''st'' almighty attacks.

@@JR384 Yeah she doesn't have that anymore, but as a trade off she's weak to Physical and Darkness. On the plus side though, you could theoretically make her null all with just 3 skills.

@@PrinceSilvermane Realistically, I'll probably choose one element to represent as opposed to all of them (especially since all of the skills look the same beyond the color of the beam), give her the Ma-barion variant, the regular and High Element Pleromas, cover her weaknesses, and then slap some Mana Restoration on her.
