I don't know why, but the white looks the most striking. It's like a black & white movie, very reminiscent of the original 1954 film. There is just something haunting about it.

Red looks like Coral from Armored Core Six. Also, I like to imagine the initial fire breath sounding like a rocket launch, and the razor-thin beam of plasma sounding a lot harsher, for lack of a better word, instead of sounding a lot like a TLS from Ace Combat.

I’m pretty sure they turned it blue in the cartoon to not spoil the surprise of a new atomic breath, after all, it’s been 12 years since Japan has seen Godzilla’s atomic breath. (Not counting Godzilla 2014)
