Ok, yes it look like he's dead but actually he is in hibernation state(like he was after using his atomic breath for the first time) and he will need some time to recover. Anyways that's a different story, Zilla Jr won that fight but he didn't killed Shin Godzilla, only stopped him for a couple of weeks.

This should have been a Death Battle: Wiz: "Shin Godzilla had the advantage is size and firepower, but Zilla Jr outclassed him in every other respect." Boomstick: "His incredible speed and agility, combined with his burrowing abilities, allowed him to run circles around his opponent. More importantly, Zilla Jr is pretty frigging smart. He was able to analyze Shin's weaknesses and use hit and run tactics to wear him down." Wiz: "Last but certainly not least, Shin Godzilla's own version of the atomic breath comes with a weakness that few if any of his more traditional predecessors demonstrated. While certainty powerful and capable of being fired from multiple points on his body, it is very taxing on his stamina, to the point where he once had to take a two week long nap after using it." Boomstick: "Ultimately, Shin was nothing more than a pretender to the throne." Wiz: "The winner is Zilla Jr."

Like the Design is Really Good The only Problem with it was his portayal in the movie he stared in. If they used this design but the 1994 plot It would have been loved by more fans.

Wow what an incredible representation of my favorite kaiju, and im not just saying that cause he won. Zilla Jr has always been a problem solver and that is showcased here perfectly, he tries a head on assault, it fails, he tries getting behind where Shin cant reach, that fails, so he moves on to hit and run tactics while targeting a weakspot, and you didn't downplay his power and durability either! It's not the most breathtaking animation, but it is made with heart and it shows. I don't know who you are but im glad i found your channel, well played dinomania.

nope, shins breath only cut through buildings, and almost every single godzilla has also done this, and the thermal fire shin had released early probaly weakened the buildings and made them ever easier to cut through, even godzilla 1954 can beat shin.

Wow, that was completely unexpected and a very well drawn out fight. I like how Zilla wasn’t a mindless, killing machine and rather a cunning strategist. Edit: Also, Shin Godzilla’s atomic breath is limited and would take a very long time to recharge if it ever does fully deplete, which is 100% accurately shown in this bootyful animation. :P

Probably cause Junior was born a Kaiju while his dad was mutated. I think Zilla used a breath in the movie when they were running from him in a cab. At least it didn’t seem like anything was right in front of his mouth when that happened. Most of the thing Junior can do Zilla probably didn’t even know he could do.

People are always badmouthing Zilla when they forget how much better Zilla Jr was. atleast he didn't run away from a fight like his father. sure, Zilla Jr wasn't as durable as other Godzillas, but he made good use of his speed and agility, and he was a fast learner. he was the Raptor of Kaiju. when he couldn't win in a head on fight, he used strategy and hit&run, and sometimes even made use of the environment. Zilla Jr does not deserve the hate his father gets.

While Shin easily outranked Zilla JR. In power, he didn't have the intelligence to strategically use the abilities he possessed. Zilla only had his atomic fire and burrowing but was not only able to create a viable solution to weaken Shin, but also notice Shin's weak point, his back. Shin also had a limited amount of energy where as Zilla JR. atomic fire was theoretically limitless, meaning Shin could not deal continuous damage towards Zilla JR. In short, Shin had the power but lacked the intellect and the energy to fully use it.

I can officially consider Zilla Jr as a true Godzilla he is a fighter,he is pretty strong,he doesn't run away from the military,and he breathe an atomic breath well an atomic fire breathe but it's still powerful.

I think if G 98 GOT enough time to evolve. He could be in the level of other kotms. Really.he really proved it on that animated series.

To prove this, Shin Godzilla is not dead or neither in a Hibernation State. Zilla JR just don't realizes Shin isn't dead. Edit: Shin Godzilla is still alive as his G-Cells were still moving even if he got severely injured, or get killed.

It's not about size it's about how fast and smart you are.

Well done, this battle is not only really well done but also realistic if these two actually fought. Shin Godzilla is definitely the more powerful of the two, but much slower. Zilla may not be the most durable kaiju but he is definitely one of the fastest and smartest kaiju. Once Zilla became aware of Shin's fire power he switched from head on assault to evasive maneuvers and hit from multiple positions to not only wear Shin down but to force him to use up his energy before moving in for the kill. If done properly Zilla can be a badass kaiju.

My childhood is happy with the outcome of this battle! Glad to see you had their skills in mind and knowing Junior he may not have the capacity to evolve or be almost indestructible like Shin, but his speed and brain are a great asset to have against bigger and powerful enemies.

And also Zilla Jr is my new most favourite dude and is possibly the strongest guy, maybe so ye

This is accurate though. Shin Godzilla can evolve to be the strongest iteration but it takes time to do so, and a lot of it at that. Against another titan like Zilla jr it will get killed as it can't adapt fast enough to combat him.

Did not expect to ever see a Zilla beat a Godzilla, nor do I recall Zilla ever having a proper heat blast. Then again, it's been a while since I've seen the cartoon.

Yay Zilla Jr! He’s my favorite Godzilla of all times! While Shin Godzilla is (technically) my least favorite kaiju. So this ending is completely satisfying for me. Who’s the better spin off Godzilla? Junior Is!

Great animation, but technically Shin Godzilla would just evolve to beat him. Good job anyhow.

Shin Godzilla needs time to evolve he doesn’t just do it in milliseconds and Even in the movie his evolution didn’t prevent him from being able to sustain damage to his back it just allowed him to utilize a defense against aircraft. There’s not much shin could do to evolve quickly enough to turn the tables against Zilla jr he’s simply too big , too slow and easily outmaneuvered

Jason Voorhees Shin Godzilla can evolve in seconds. The second form doubled in size in seconds into the third form of Shjn Godzilla. It then doubled in size in the next day, which yes, took a day, but Shin still evolves really fast.. If you watch the movie you’d know this.

I didn’t think he could have a chance because of how over powered he is in offense but with the kind of intelligence Zilla JR has, I could see how he could win. Not to mention that Shin’s defense is good but can be out smarted pretty easily I feel.

Plus we never saw shin godzilla fight other monsters so we dont know how capable he is in a fight. And dont even get me started on his t-rex arms

want see zilla and king kong from cartoon teaming up with one another. I watched both cartoons when on fox kids and loved them both. Thought since animation style was basically the same the two should crossed over

Although shin is far powerful with his abilities, he's a luggering giant, very slow and takes time turning then jr, speaking of jr he's VERY smart and doing that strategy that he did was bc of weakpoints and that's big, jr learns as that fight goes on, so he's capable of bringing down alot of godzillas if he's careful.. I'm glad jr won out of this awesome fight!!

His evolutions aren't instant. He needs time. If you can wound him faster than he can evolve, then you'll eventually win. I don't know about Zilla Jr being able to take those lasers though.

Dude Zilla Jr. Has really thick layer of skin so it's hard to penetrate.

Final wars would of been different if it were zilla jr instead! Zilla jr is awesome

That right there, was an excellent animation. Great quality, great sound effects, and very good plot and plot pacing. 1+

Shin Godzilla's biggest weakness is that he's easily the stupidest incarnation of Godzilla in the entire franchise. He lumbers around aimlessly, seemingly oblivious to his surroundings until something hurts him, and then relies on his innate ability to evolve new features to solve the problem for him. Zilla Jr. is smaller and weaker, but much smarter than Shin Godzilla, easily one of the smartest (if not the smartest) in the franchise, so I'm not surprised he was able to win.

Winter 77 as powerful as shin godzilla is, he still has flaws(slow, weak to attacks at the back and he's nuclear energy has a limit). Jr. although weaker has strategy and speed to his advantage.

I like Zilla jr, but I don’t think he can ever really beat Shin Godzilla. Sure you can temporarily stop him, like he did in this animation, but he’ll just keep coming back. He’ll just keep relentlessly, adapting, evolving, and changing until he finally beats Zilla jr.
