Shimo meets Netsu | Fan Animation | Inspired by AlphaAvenator Art | Read Description
Here's a small animation I made after being inspired by AlphaAvenator's artwork on Instagram. Credits to him for coming up with Netsu, Shimo's evil brother.
Edit: I feel like I should clarify this. Netsu is NOT canon to the Monsterverse and is a FAN MADE creation. Netsu's look is supposed to be based off of the Indoraptor. AlphaAvenator/Monster Art has clarified this in his post. I recommend checking his work out, over on Instagram
Also don't mind the audio, I didn't really put much effort into it. This is NOT part of "Planet of the Monsters" Fan Film, and is made just for fun.

My only complaint is that Shimo and Netsu's spines should both be either glowing or brighter colored. The lighting on Netsu is perfect, but Shimo is *way* too dark. She's a majestic glowing ice puppy, she deserves her recognition ❤

@@shaloserebos8199 Thank you for the feedback! I do need to work on my lighting yes. I got Shimo's model from Sketchfab, I modified it a bit but no matter what I do, I didn't exactly get want I wanted. I'm waiting for Moistman/Monko's Shimo model. I do plan to remaster this video soon and maybe also make an extended version, who knows? :)

@@user-nx1bh9er5j Thanks man, glad you liked it. Unfortunately that's the whole animation. I had a small concept in mind after I saw Monster Art's post and made this. Maybe sometime in the future I'll make an extended version, with maybe an overall better look.

In my honest opinion Netsu or a new reptilian titan should've been a secondary antagonist who shared the same goal as skar king while potrayed as a destructive titan that feeds on dark energy within the hollow earth and is feared by both titans and civilizations instead shimo Which would make him more of an inspiration of space godzilla in the MV (if legendary had thought of creating a new monster that is more menacing than ghidorah instead of an abused animal). Dont get me wrong shimo is an unique and creative monster but i think she would've been better off as a different titan with a new appearance (possibly mammalian, amphibian or avian) who's is introduced in a new installment (whether as an allie or foe) instead of the new empire, where she was thought to be an evil iteration of godzilla like how skar king was to kong 🤷.

@@reptilo7099 I completely agree with this. Who knows maybe in a future installment we might get Netsu or someone from Shimo's species. I'm pretty sure they're setting up Space Godzilla in the MonstersVerse with all the radiation and crystal in the Hollow Earth, there might very well be another from the Godzilla or Shimo specimen out there waiting to be released.

@@RogueRenderer with all due respect and honesty, legendary does not plan to add space godzilla nor any more of toho's monsters due to them being expensive. Plus, there haven't been any hints of Space Goji appearing in the MV, So it's a possibility that they'll probably create a new original monster, whether it's another hollow earth titan or alien monster of their own who is inspired by space godzilla in the future 🤔🤷.

I did not design Netsu. I just made modifications to the already available Shimo model. AlphaAvenator/ Monster Art is the one who designed this. Its a Fan Made Creation, which also states that Netsu is supposed to be Shimo's brother so ofc Netsu will be similar to Shimo in some way. And yes I am aware Shimo shoots ice, but I was unable to get that effect. I tried different methods which didn't work, so i just went with the old atomic breath effect, which people use in Blender. And I'm not sure what you're trying to say about the shards part. Lava shards exist, they are called Obsidian.
