Thank you so much for putting this together, it was very helpful! One part I stumbled on was my front derailleur was on the small ring, and, as I found out, when in the small ring the control system prevents the rear derailleur from going into the smallest cog. That caused MUCH confusion when I was attempting to set the 'H' screw adjustment. Once I figured that out I was rockin n rolling. I would consider adding a note to the video to 'be sure to set the front derailleur to the big ring' before adjusting the 'H' screw. Alas, I dring a beer for you. Ching Ching.

Cheers for video. I’ll have a go again at trying to fine tune my Di2. It goes through all gears when on big ring fine and quiet. But when your in small ring it doesn’t change great just catching, so then you adjust it so just enough to get in gear. Great you think. Go back to big ring go through gears again and you then have same problem Vice versa. Maybe my limit screws are upsetting adjustments.

Hi Free To Cycle thank you for such an informative video. I replaced my old RD-6870-SS rear derailleur with a brand new RD-8050-GS (I have an 11-32 cassette) just a few days ago. I have encountered a problem though. Shimano manual tells you to select gear 5 to start micro adjusting the derailleur. Then start clicking inboard until the chain touches gear 4. I do that but I run out of clicks. The micro adjustments are there, a full 32, 16 each way. In my case I only get 9 clicks inboard (then if I keep clicking inboard nothing happens) and the remaining clicks outboard. I made sure that the high/low stops are adjusted correctly, that the rear wheel is true, that the hanger is correctly aligned with the hanger alignment tool and that the the front derailleur is also setup properly. When I adjust, I have the chain engaged into the the big chainring (in the front 50 tooth). The small chainring is 34. What could be causing this? I am currently stuck. Thank you.

Very good, I did have trouble with the front derailleur but had to shim it so it would work, The chain ring was smaller and at the bottom of the frame front derailleur mount so it would not center and it pushed out in the front when you tried to adjust the top adjustment. I think it will work but have not put chain on yet so waiting for the chain to arrive. I think its all set to go thanks!

Hey @FreetoCycle ⚙, great installation videos for both front & rear derailleurs, I've installed an Ultegra Di2 on my Canyon Ultimate CF SL, (11-32 R, 52-36F) All seemed to be shifting fine before the first ride, when I when up my first decent hill, in first gear it over shifted and the chain came off, so I adjusted the limit screw so that wouldn't happen, then I was getting it to shift into first gear but it would stay there for 2/3 revolutions then come down to second gear, I then went on to the Etube app to adjust the gear (so I could see what was happening), I adjusted, and again it was shifting fine at home, but when I'm on a hill it is now upping in the second & first gears when going up hills, Just wondering if you ever seen anything like this??
