It’s so hard being a survivor of a shooting. I live in constant fear now thinking I have a short time on this earth and question my own reality. This type of songs help me think and bring me back to this world.

I feel like in life you have to search for meaning instead of happiness, because if you search for happiness you will feel worse more but with a meaningful life you know it will get better. IDK if that makes sense but that's how I feel.

Happiness is a result of things, not something that can truly be found on its own. You feel happy when you do things, not the other way around. Searching for meaning and chasing it provides fulfillment to your life, which ultimately will bring happiness in the end.
