well she wasnt ready back then... she was scoring 10s on beam and low 13s on floor. And konnor didnt qualify to nationals.

I know she did well and getting second overall is great. I’m trying to nit pick it for practice, don’t think I didn’t see all the good and potential in this routine. I’m looking for every mistake possible. Off balance on wolf turn Feet apart in landing Not steady landing on leap series Landing low underrroated second pass and archy Turn is pre turned with upper body leaning and overturned at finish Second leap is crooked and body position isn’t tall. Overall lacking form on turn (although I’ve seen far far worse lol) needs to push more into the floor with her standing leg and elongate her upper body. Needs to use her arms on her double tuck pass Needs to watch feet especially in ending… in some areas especially without natural flexible feet That’s what I could tell was noticeably off in general (I’m a coach) from watching on a tiny screen on my phone and not having the best angles for everything. If only I knew the values for everything elite wise and how much they’d take off for like the same mistake vs in JO since of course much harder, I’d love to come up with my own execution score for her but I dont know how much they’d take off on certain things. And I’m sure I’m missing some things in tumbling since it happens so fast.

Rebecca Andrade had a combined D-score of 23.9. Shilese Jones had a combined D-score of 22.0. That's why Andrade won. Jones actually did outscore her on execution alone.
