She's one of THE MOST graceful, ballerina-like gymnast we've ever had on a US Team.

I love her style and that’s triple L turn was beautiful.

I'm so happy to see the ballet elements coming back in floor routines. I've missed that in recent years. Shilese Jones is so tall and graceful, she would have made a beautiful ballet dancer too.

This music fits on so many levels! Rooting for you all the way to Paris!!!🏅

I used to love watching Svetlana. Simone's power gymnastics are great, but I've always loved the taller, more graceful ladies.

That triple L spin, so much control!

No disrespect to simone but shilese was my highlight of these nationals she is just getting better and better. This is absolutely stunning work just look at the difference from 2021 floor to this its almost like she's a different gymnast. ❤❤❤❤❤

Mine as well! I’d been anticipating her return since Worlds ‘22. She’s not only back, but she’s also better and I’m so excited for her.

That triple turn was gorgeous! I hope she gets this named after her if she gets severed for Worlds.

What do you think the code of points is going to look after 2024 Olympics? Would you want it to be artistically based or difficultly based like years ago?

I believe it got given an E, it is not yet in the COP but her and Angelina Melnikova have competed it in competition

Her new routine looks different but I prefer this one. It's so pretty.

This routine is much better than her last! Still too bouncing, but I think she can be more planted in this style with her beautiful balletic lines. Just needs to use push down on the floor more to ground her movements, rather than spring through them! I approve this. And that triple L turn…a moment!

So artistry deductions, international idk about this performance. Shilese is artistic, but the choreo is very slow and has a long pause after the first tumble . She is literally walking slowly on floor for parts as dance yes its a slow music, BUT, it may be seen as smoke breaks and she can get penalized. Remember, Shilese's international score last year did not match her domestic the most of any gymnast from usa at worlds (for similar performances).

You need to learn what the artistry deductions actually are.

Shi, stop playing and go on and add a 4th pass. It could be really competitive and already among the most beautiful in the world right now, in my opinion

She’s 3rd best in the US. Could medal in words too. One less pass and increased dance elements make her D score better than Jordan Chiles. Who is reigning silver medalist on floor at worlds

No she doesn’t. Gadirova did very few passes and won gold at last year world championship for floor exercise. Gotta get with the new COP.

She still got a huge score both days. If Kaliya doesn’t make the worlds team, Shilese could very well be in the floor final at worlds

I mean this is a 5.9 d score, another D level pass would only give her 0.1 and due to landings it’s not worth it

I don’t think she should get another tumbling pass, this is working for her. She would have made floor finals last year if she wasn’t 2 per countried out.
