where do you get the wraps to do this please, I am trying to protect my shih tzu's tail she keeps biting at it and I want to wrap it and protect it .

Once a week. I'm using True Iconic cosmetics.

Did it take you a long time to get your dog used to having her hair wrapped and did it take you a while to establish a swift rhythm like what you have now? My girls only 9 months so although it’s never been cut before isn’t quite long enough yet imo but within a couple of moths I’d like to begin the process to get her used to having her hair wrapped she’s also blowing her coat right now, do you think wrapping the hair during this stage could help with matting?

I start wrapping when they are 10 months old. At this age, the hair is not very long yet, but it begins to change from puppy to adult. It makes me easy to care for. Coat is in better condition. Wrapping takes about 1 hour. This video is at an accelerated pace.

Barbara Chuchrowska yes my girls coat has started to change now and is getting very difficult to keep mats free, do you keep the wraps in for the entire week and do you then only take them out to bath your girl. Does wrapping the hair keep it from matting as badly and what are the wraps called? Your video is the best most informative video on KZread for wrapping dogs hair so thank you so much for sharing with us and for replying to my questions I really appreciate that. 💗

After bathing. I mix the conditioner with oil.
