I'm a Police Officer in Australia and have a shih tzu called Charley. That dog makes me forget about all the horrible things I see every day and how horrible some people can be to each other. There is a science to how good a dog makes you feel. I don't know how I would cope without my dog.

My TMI-Co came to me as the most wonderful addition to our life. She is at times as stubborn and funny at the same time. She relieves all the tension an 81 year old woman no longer feels. I adore my little wonder .❤️👩🏻‍🦳❤️

I had a ShihTzu over 18 years. She crossed the rainbow bridge 5-18. Still miss her today, they are the best. Just none like them.

I have a 16 years old Shih Tzu, she is my baby, I got her when she was just 3 weeks old, her momma didn't want her! I had to bottle feed her! She have heart issues now, but she doesn't give up & keep on going just like the energizer bunny! All she does is sleep, eat & handle her business! Her name is LucyLu!!!good luck with your babies! Shih Tzus are the best!!!!

I just wouldn't have any other breed. All my shih tzu's have been the best.

My Shih Tzu is 16 years old and still a world traveler best friend to me. Baxter is super protective and smart. I recently went back to the Netherlands after being away for 3 years and he remembered the exact room at the hotel we had stayed in, so I switched rooms for the week long vacation. 😉❤️

Ditto! I swear over half the photos on my phone are of my shih tzu (may he Rest In Peace) of him sleeping or chewing his toys or other silly things. But especially of him sleeping and his crazy positions! Lol

my shih tzu was my BEST friend in the entire world. He truly was my therapy dog, he got lose and possibly stolen from the street 3 years ago:( it still hurts. But in 2017 i rescued another shih tzu who was being abused and he was very aggressive and protective over himself, now he’s very happy and healthy! And now i just adopted a shih tzu/maltese puppy that i will be bringing home in 4 days (which is her 8 week mark)♥️

They really are the best! Like little angels. I have an eight year old Shih-Tzu who is the most beautiful one I've ever seen, and his name fits him perfectly... Happy! He's practically all white with golden fur on it's ears and head, with big dark eyes, a button nose and pulpy lips. Oh yeah, I'm nuts about him!

Hanna A on the contrary! They are very quiet and rarely bark unless someone strange comes knocking at the door. They don't even bark when they're left alone... they just get sad. However they're very alert and intelligent, and will always warn you if something strange is going on in the house. I live in an apartment, and they are no trouble at all. Their fur requires care, so mine is groomed weekly, and trimmed every two months or so, otherwise their fur grows too long, especially in hot climates.But they are the sweetest living creatures on earth! Very afectionate, loving, intelligent and adorable! They really are the best! You will not regret having a Shih-Tzu. You will only regret not having had one long before! The best of luck!!!

Hanna A mine don’t bark at all and my other one just barks when seeing another dog for the first time, they whine sometimes but it’s not annoying or constant

I just made arrangements to view, select and adopt a brother/sister pair. We will be selecting when they’re about a week or two old, and then will pick them up in person sometime around the middle of February!!! So excited!!! Best birthday-Christmas-anniversary-Valentine’s Day gift ever! Breeder was discovered on and recommended by the AKC website so I know they are what they say they are and that they’re safely and responsibly bred! The breeders are retired local and federal law enforcement officers and just really awesome people who are very transparent and extremely helpful throughout the process from birth and beyond. Absolutely can NOT wait for my new babies!!!
