There are many anime character design that are too generic and cliche but Soejima's character design are the most unique I've ever seen in an anime

Soejima's art is timeless.

This KZread channel might not get the views it deserve. But I really want Archipel to stay alive as long as possible. You are making amazing documentaries that are really life inspiring to me. This place is almost like a dream, somewhere you are always glad to go to. I don't think I will be able to thank you enough for what you did with this channel, Merci.

What a legend

I remember borrowing Catherine on a whim from a friend years ago and having a lot of fun with it. I actually never finished it (I think I got stuck on the last level and just forgot to pick it back up again), but the art style REALLY stuck out to me. When P5 came out, I instantly recognized the art style. This guy sold me on Catherine and the Persona series just with his drawings. What an artist, man.

I have noticed that Russian subtitles in the video itself and the one that I see in community preview are a bit different. I do remember making small changes, like fixing typos. Can you please check and maybe somehow approve the latest version of Russian subtitles?

I always saw Atlus as a studio that couldn't do just like the others, however they managed to create something so unique in their game that now they are the only ones who can do it, and their designs are fabulous.

this artstyle its purely his so distinct and iconic.

Love his work so much! He has a good sexy grasp on graphic design too which translates well to his art.

I ended that video with tears welling up. Thank you for these videos. They always fill me with energy and the motivation to keep going with my animation.

Makes it even more impressive and shows how equipment is really not important if you got amazing skill.

He having fun while drawing this is what a artist should strive for, it is really inspiring that he thinks himself as a novice compared to other and keep on growing learning

Definitely one of the 10 best Japanese artists working in the industry IMO. Personally i preferred his Stella Deus work but his more recent stuff are also great. I'm looking forward to see more work from him on Project Re Fantasy besides the amazing artworks we have already seen from him on that project.

Soejima is the man I want to be when I reach his age. Really.

His calm and how happy he is when he’s describing his work is so inspiring

This man got me interested in digital drawing and I am so grateful to him, because now I really like my works. Soejima is a legend for me and my biggest inspiration, thank you for this video, it's nice to hear him sharing his thoughts!

Soejima is legendary. Archipel's doing a fantastic job with this content. And since I'm old school, I would be very, VERY impressed if they get episodes of Katsuhiro Otomo and Yoshitaka Amano who are my major inspirations. Or Taiyo Matsumoto of Tekkonkinkreet graphic novel fame ( I love this manga and anime ).

That seems to be a woman working on a model, so it would be her desk. You can tell it isn't Soejima cause of the weird grip on the tablet pen, and of course Soejima doesn't work on 3D models.

This is very inspiring.

when your game is so outta the box, retailers & reviewers categorize its genre as Arcade, a distinguishing characteristic of pure game. my friend couldnt get into it because of the cut corners to animation during the more mundane ingame bar hangouts, my only flaw with it is the analogue chaos/order meter when only 4 endings really exist (max chaos, max order, neutral lotto loss, and neutral lotto win) itll be fun to see what they changeup for PS4 Catherine "golden" edition.
