Those Intellijel systems look so nice

The demo that we were all waiting for!!!! Showing the functionality of this module on a musical context is more worth than any manual description. I was waiting to hear the capability of the module as sequential switch and this demo includes it at 3:14

As far as I can tell, three years later this is still the only game in town to do this with one device. I'm thinking you can combine various things to get there, but this does it in one module. Order on the way, along with a Qu-bit Bloom (Thanks to Red Means Recording honestly).

I may have missed it here but, I'm trying to research Shifty to see if it is what I am needing for a specific situation... can Shifty send out 4 different pitches? Or is it all just the same pitch at different times/intervals? I'm looking for something that can take a Pitch In and send out 4 different pitches to the Xaoc Hel expander of my Odessa Module, and I'm having a hard time finding a module that can do this; which is surprising since I can usually research this stuff on my own with no problem, but I'm stumped on this one...

I still don't get how you patch to do S&H

I did the shifting with vermona qmi when i started €rack, then yarns and now i programmed the ES FH-1 in this way. with this module its way more flexible and more important: i can modulate the cv before i shift it! But but the modules here have the ability to switch the output behaviour to a "normal" mode via midi channel. is there a unison mode on the Shifty? Or a workaround? I'd like to use my 4 vcos at the same time for basslines etc without patching in a livesituation. If there is no other way i will need buffered mults and switches for that. Alternative firmware which replaces classic sr mode with a unison mode would make my life easier. Also nice for tuning vcos. allthough you can tune by pressing the same note 4 times... :)

Not sure if you saw this, but Shifty has new firmware that should allow you to use it this way. Manual / Sequential Switch Mode Toggle Switch Mode: Hold RESET for 1 second The LED for the selected output channel will stay lit Press the RESET button or input a trig/gate into RESET to select the output Respects your Voice and Order Settings When Voices: SR is selected, your inputs are passed to all 4 outputs Setting to TRK is Continuous Track in this mode (not Track & Hold) Continuous Tracking vs Track & Hold Toggle Continuous Tracking: Set switch to TRK, hold GATE and RESET for 1 second When Continuous Tracking is enabled, the Gate LED will stay lit when switch is set to TRK Setting saves to flash across reboots No effect on Sample & Hold mode

Four Dixies through Polaris and Rainmaker in Shift Register Mode sequenced by Metropolis. Looks like I was using Saw on the first two, Pulse on the third, and Sub on the fourth.

There is a song they sing to save the earth called "Get Schwifty." You can google it if you want, it might seem a little crude out of context but let me assure you it is brilliant. But i predict in the future people will definitely be "getting shifty" with their patching ;-) BTW I really enjoyed the demo, the sample and hold portion was particularly intriguing.
