Shaw layin’ it down…gorgeous bro!
All great comments!!! I'm a big proponent of shifting AFTER the bow change (most of the time). I also like to keep the arm in a place where I can maintain the weight transfer from the upper arm to where the finger meets the string and where I don't have to make any additional lifting or reaching for the upper positions. I believe that fewer moving parts and weight transfers, often result in missed shifts or shifts that are not serving the phrase.
