Good video bud, love the head cam view would love to see more videos like this!! Love seeing the gauges of what the trucks doing makes me feel like I’m in the truck.

My favorite channel on youtube, love being able to see the 1st person view, the rpm's and everything, i run a dump truck and pup here in the states but i only get up to 52 tonnes, i couldn't imagine what it would be like pulling over 100 tonnes

The fact these blokes shift perfectly between 1500 and 2500 is unreal, god i wish i was as handy as this fulla, ive driven a few t909s loaded with hay in the drought and its the best sound you can ever listen too. Fucking love it

Great motor the old C15 and C16 CATS... it’s a shame they got knocked on the head and replaced with the Cummins and Paccar (not that there’s anything wrong with them either!) but the sound of that CAT... thanks for the upload mate

You gotta when your 140ton Gross I still believe a 620 signature pulls better than a slow revving cat I've watched plenty of yank crap vids with their shit box lowered trucks 😆 they get upto speed in no time their turbos wouldn't even know what load is 😆😆

​​@@c501brute8I agree, I've never been that impressed with a c15 cat at 550hp I used to drive, they were good but I came out of Cummins signature gen 2 derated to 550 at the time in Mack Titans that motor and truck was new and so was the cat at the time in the SAR. Those signature Cummins pissed all over the C15 motors. Pulled way harder and there jakes were stronger too. This C16 reminds me of the C15 in the 404SAR the turbo whistle would actually get annoying too. Cool for a while but gets old quick it was real loud. I'm not sure why every one wanks on so much about the cat's I've driven a few and a few the signatures too and they don't compare in power in factory spec. PS cool name. The C501 brutes were awesome trucks I drove one with a KTA600hp in it for a while for Gulf back in the day....weapons of trucks and motors.👍

@@bush600r2 only driven 2 cats one was a accert in a 908 the other a 9nz in a 650 both doughy pieces of shit all noise with no bark turbo gets way to fucken annoying I definitely can relate to that 😆 I will give it to cat they might be slow reving but fuck don't have longevity cant knock how long they go for without shitting themselves although I know of one 6nz rebuilt with genuine cat parts & didn't even make it to its 1st oil change at least a cummins can make it to 250000km before dropping a liner, I recently sold my C509 they are a proper weapon well built trucks i deeply regretting selling it I always wanted to own one but you gotta do what ya gotta do to survive besides it was 155ton rated on 6 rod so it was to heavy for what I was doing anyway i only tow 110ton A-B triples carting grain so i loose nearly 4ton payload compared to to my 908 on 8 bag 115ton rated so i do get a excellent payload with the 908

Wish cat still made engines for KW an freightliner. Hands down best engines out there

Hey mate, it’s just pre select , out to neutral and back in to next gear , unload/reload on throttle, 18 speed Eaton. It’s a technique I’ve done for years, when use do do a lot of hills driving. There’s no neutralising, u no it’s back in gear, and no clucking or rough splits on older worn transmission’s. Also some of the CATS running full boost takes a tad longer for revs to drop, so out and in, u know u have the gear. U don’t have to do this and just unload reload on throttle it’s no speacial trans. But I’ve been doing this for years it has its benefits. Cheers mate, hava good one.

Get an old make Superliner or valueliner and a ultraliner V8 and pre select 😂😂 crunch crunch each gear there gear box is not designed to pre select

I'm amazed that a 16 litre can pull 140 tons that well.

I’ve had a new Mack Titan for awhile mate, not in the 904 anymore. There still used as spare Trucks so if I do a trip in one , I’ll do a video. Should have done more videos while I had it, seems popular.

Yeah tripple Tex no dramas mate. would love to see more. Cause there's not many real Aussies out there that do first person videos in trucks and your one I really enjoy watching. For me no stress for you to make another vid so fast cause I'll be watching this video over and over cheers

Matt Luszczak Hey mate, hope your going alright over there at the min...If your got all your licences there are companies that will give u a go ,it helps to have experience in semi/b double...I think the bigger companies will train u just to drive, where family company you’ll learn to drive do maintenance on your truck trailers which helps if your out in the middle of nowhere with a mechanical problems. Doing fuel I got a start with a family company in town, learnt a lot. If your got all your licences go get your DG licence it all helps. Maybe when the borders open up try fifo driving, road trains in headland , Midwest or come over do a harvest season see if you like it, u know. Anyway all the best mate, hope this helps...
