@@vangattan Straight up, this is accurate, we would go to the woodburn dragstrip in 2005-2006 and if you made 10 secs they pulled your car out and required you to wear helmets and roll cage. It was really not cool because half of everyone there had to hold back down the quarter as to not hit 10s and that was with a mostly stock cars with aftermarket engine parts.

It's a bit of both. I had a 2001 Odyssey. Over 300k miles; I live by the Great Lakes. Bad winter weather and lots of hills. When it finally crapped, it wasn't the engine. It wasn't the transmission. It was the frickin alternator. During a drive, somehow it locked up. Blew the belt apart, engine sputtered out; I threw it in neutral and coasted to a stop.

​@@fabertastic6259 Double clutching has nothing to do with racing, on older truck transmissions you would press the clutch, take it out of gear, release the clutch, blip the throttle, then push the clutch back in before putting it in the next gear. It helped make sure everything lined up correctly. This is not something you ever do if your trying to go fast, as it's incredibly slow.

from experience, I don't think it's possible to break a Honda manual transmission. closest I've come is ripping off the rear mount area of the transmission
