in this episode Fake geto awakened two types of new sorcerers: 1. 1000 civilians that have become host to ancient legendary sorcerers. (like yuji and sukuna) 2. civilians who have potential that have been given powers using idle transfiguration (Mahito’s technique. exactly what mahito did to junpei in s1) he was able to get 1000 legendary sorcerers into the civilians by activating the cursed objects in them remotely (why tsumiki fushiguro “woke up”) . In order to get those cursed objects, he previously made binding vows with those legendary sorcerers throughout the years..however whatever he vowed in exchange became null once he swapped bodies. These civilians are fucked because yuji is a VERY special case where he can hold sukuna back but most people can’t, so right now there’s a bunch of super strong sorcerers from heian era (golden age of sorcery) in control of a 1000 people. As well as a bunch of random civilians with jujutsu powers. Fake geto’s grand intention for all this is currently unknown but he did say something about “creating chaos” “optimizing cursed energy” having these people kill each other, and “the golden age of sorcery.” Beyond that we don’t know why.

Ngl even though Yuji didn't kill all those people in Shibuya, it makes total sense why Yuta should kill him. Why risk having Yuji around with Sukuna inside him if they can just kill him and have Sukuna never return(Also with the fact Yuta is a special grade, it shouldn't be hard for him to get the job done and finish Yuji)

Here are some of my thoughts and shareable explanation about the season's ending: 1. What is Yuki Tsukumo's goal? - The eradication of cursed energy, or humanity breaking away from it. Why? Because she believes eradicating it will lead to peace and order all throughout the world. Japan has virtual monopoly of cursed energy in the world. This is because of Tengen's barrier around Japan - which optimizes cursed energy within humans which then enables them to become sorcerers. Of course I guess the same goes to cursed spirits - some are born powerful due to the enhanced cursed energy in this part of the world. There's also cursed energy in other parts of the world, but they are dormant due to Tengen being far away from them. Now Yuki's concern is that if ever cursed energy becomes easily accessible to everyone in the world, the world super power governments could also learn how to harness and weaponize it, which could lead to something like the cold war era. Ironically, the best example of Yuki's goal was Toji. However he was a rare case, and you know what become of him and his capabilities. 2. What is Kamo's/ Fake Geto's goal? - The exact opposite of Yuki's - which is the optimization of Cursed energy. This stems from a more self-centered desire to witness what becomes of humans after it evolves as a result of optimizing cursed energy. Maybe he wants to see more powerful evolved humans, cursed spirits and sorcerers. This means that he doesn't care about what happens to the world, so long as his desires are satisfied. How will he achieve this? By orchestrating widespread chaos. This is due to the fact that he can not directly make people & cursed spirits evolve. However, he believes that in a chaotic environment where people are pushed to their limits, evolution will occur. This theory was proven by Mahito, who evolved during his fight with Yuji (that's why fake Geto thanked Yuji). 3. What's the purpose of the remote idle transfiguration and the mentioned duels between sorcerers (I will not reveal the official name as it is a spoiler) ? - He casted Mahito's technique to respawn sorcerers from the past whom he had deal with, and even 'make' new sorcerers out of ordinary people (such as in the case of Junpei). This is the 'chaos' Fake Geto is talking about. Various sorcerers - modern sorcerers and even reincarnated past sorcerers will be pitted against each other to set the stage for cursed energy optimization. 4. Why did the higher ups decide to exterminate Itadori? - For the obvious reason that they've always wanted to do this from the very start. Remember they wanted to dispose of Sukuna by killing Itadori. Now that Gojo is out of the picture, they can pretty much do whatever they want. 5. Why are Gojo and Yaga declared criminals along with Fake Geto? - Also for the same reason that the higher ups are corrupt and are too hungry for power. There's natural enmity between Gojo and the higher ups so they blamed the Shibuya incident to Gojo and to those close to him. As for Yaga, well he's Gojo's and Geto's sensei, so naturally the higher ups think that they were Yaga's responsibility as their sensei. 6. What will Yuta's role be in the events to come? - As revealed in this episode, as of now he is the appointed executioner to Yuji. And yes, Yuta can still manifest Rika. But this version of Rika is said to be only a weaker remnant that was left over from the original which passed on back in JJK zero. I'm hyped! I may have missed many other things, but these are my take aways from the information shared so far in the anime. Feel free to add or correct some things I said if I'm wrong. The manga picks up at chapter 138 btw. And since Sukuna is the one who cut off Inumaki's arm thats not coming back unless he knows RCT which he dosen't

The higher ups are keeping Gojo a criminal, because he kept Yuji alive and thus let Sukuna (least part of him) live thus causing the massacre in Shibuya. Gojo is TO AN EXTENT responsible for that whole thing happening. Masamichi Yaga the principal also was against Yuji's execution thus he is responsible as well.

I wish the Chainsaw Man movie producers could make a deal with Crunchyroll so that they could release the movie on streaming platforms. At this point theaters are dying and it sucks that for movies we will have to wait months until it comes to streaming. Literally the Reze movie would become the most streamed movie and crunchyroll could get a lot of subscriptions.

One thing to note that isn't really explained is that Rika isn't really back. When her soul left, it shed its cursed form, and she basically made it into a shikigami for him to use after he soul was no longer there. The first few episodes of the next season are going to be nuts. This isn't an obvious cliffhanger for the anime-only, but there are some INSANE things that the manga-readers will be waiting a long time to see animated.

This ending really shows that its just another beginning for something even bigger with that cutoff. But atleast season 3 is already confirmed

Well for those who don't know they said that Gojo is a coconspirator as he was supposed to kill Geto, but know since "Geto" is still alive gut he is not truly Geto (and spoiler the higher ups know this) and as since he was a fugitive the reinstated his execution/bounty, etc. and the principal since he was in charge of them and the school at that time they believe that he had a part to play in what i explained happened above. As i said the jujutsu higher ups know that Geto is not the real Geto but Kengaku and is using this and the fact that he is seal to keep him sealed and everyone away from sealing him, as he is the sole person that poses a threat to them and with him there they cant lay a hand on Yuji which is also why they are making swift prep to kill him. Hope this helps.😄

I expected more of this episode tbh!

its pretty much impossible to get spoiled on bleachs ending right now theres only enough content to make 8 more episodes at current pace and they are making 26. Thats because kubo was rushed and ending left as many plotholes and asspulls as the 4th great ninja war so they are completely redoing it and those changes have already been seen. For example, the old gotei werent in manga, yhwachs convo with ichibei wasnt in manga, ichigos training and visions werent in manga, the final battle with squad 0 wasnt in manga they just got killed right away in manga, which means senjumarus bankai wasnt in manga. Theyve kept the changes minor though so no huge changes but this next cour is where stuff really started falling apart so this is where there will be the most additional fights, plotlines actually finished, and changes in plot. So you pretty much cant get spoiled

Yup this episode did a swerve from battle show to disaster movie/anime that was enough political dialog to rival evangelion

I don't know why i was convinced that Yuta will side with us since he also had a power he didn't ask for so i though he would understand Yuji, however my buddy pointed out two important distintions between the two and that it's that first Yuta managed to control Rika and he proved himself and got strong enough to not even need Gojo anymore however it's impossible for Yuji to control Sukuna and to top it off he crippled Yuta's best friend Inumaki so it's personal for Yuta too, Yuji needs to hide in a bunker or something
