nicks has nothing compared to Sheryl Crow

Every time I listen to Sheryl Crow sing, I think of a special past boyfriend. It was a short-lived love, not really more than two seasons, summer and fall, and by Christmastime he had already moved on😞, but it was an intense 2+ seasons and we both fell hard for each other right from the beginning, but he was so emotionally broken and fragile from a past brief marriage & divorce and difficult family issues w/ his dad, and I grew to see how broken he really was, broken enough that he purposely (and sadly) sabotaged our blossoming relationship😢 .... But anyway, back to my point, I think I was a huge Sheryl Crow fan at the time he and I were together, and I think I remember we listened to her CD while back at my condo that evening after our first date, and we kept listening to her in the subsequent months, too, so maybe that’s why my mind immediately goes to him every time I hear one of Sheryl’s songs, even though it’s been almost 30 years since that time. Music definitely stirs the soul ...

I know girl. Ive been there and am guilty of sabotage myself, because of my life. Thats what makes these things so deep and meaningful, are their short lives. Romances that burn bright but crash and burn from their intensity. Loss of trust destroys because its so hard to come by.

And yes, Sheryl Crow WAS around back then because we listened to her all the time .... and he would tell me back then that anytime he heard a Sheryl Crow song when he wasn’t with me (long distance relationship), he also thought of me ..

Sherry Crow says, “ in the meantime.. I met someone more fabulous “ I said to my self”good girl” . I totally get it. Stevie and her music .. can be such great therapy and good advice and then you get great rock n-roll and then guess what ?... you get happy, you get over it and your on to your next journey... Stevie Nicks is lovely and a hell of a musician. 😘✌️

I heard this analogy one time that if Barbra Streisand and Elvis Presley had a child it would be K.D Lang and then I thought immediately if Stevie Nicks and Don Henley had a child it would be Sheryl Crow.
